You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

It's just hard to tell what exactly that is. And thus, I'm trying to work that out.

I loved my sister as much as it was possible to love her. She didn't make it easy.
But then, she would have said the same of me.

I know that I'm attractive. I'm also very charming when I want to be. Most of my use was in honeypot operations.

Another thing that I have heard often at that academy. Though, not sure I am quite wrapped my head around that particular thing yet.

You were used to lure in people though sexual or romantic entanglements? I can see why you were successful at that.

And yet you don't think you can be loved?

I suggest you put some effort into learning. You already have an uphill battle ahead of you as a Romulan.

Those are roles I play. I make myself what other people want. Narek is no more real than Tokath, or Lhian, or any other use-name I've taken in my life.

I am the first Romulan in starfleet academy. I am fully aware of my own...struggles in that regard. Though if I start...altering myself to fit in better, it would go against quite a few things the Order taught me.

Then what is the truth at the core of it all. Do any those roles are based on anything you like? Need? Crave?

Who said anything about changing yourself? At the end of the day, you're still probably the best option to be the first.

The easiest lies are the ones that have some truth in them.

I simply it's something of a balance. There's something of a burden being the first...if I mess up, it might reflect badly on those who might wish to follow.

Then what was the truth you built on?
