"If this works I'll come to you I promise," Orym says, "if I'm not back by dawn and the sending stone seems dead then assume it didn't work and go on without me. But I really hope it works because I really want it to."

There is a splash as Orym swims away. It takes him most of the night but he reaches Morri and her granddaughter and makes a deal for legs. He has to agree to win the heart of a true prince or serve Morri and never return home again. He is so eager to travel with Dorian he agrees without really understanding much of what he agreed to. But as he steps on land and wobbles a bit as he figures out how to walk towards the campsite. Morri and Ferne had given him new armor and a shield and sword. It wasn't much but Orym was eager to see what the land had to offer.
