A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION

YOU MAY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY - OR YOU MAY NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU'RE NOW PASSING THE TIME ASKING EACH OTHER QUESTIONS. IT'S A GAME! A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION. YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.

How to play -
1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preference.
2. If you want, leave a question in the comment field that your character is asking their opponent. Or don't. I'm not the cops.
3. Pick other characters to question and have fun!

[a head-wobble] I think they can be carried differently. That they beg different levels of self-accusation. It makes regrets more useful than guilt.

Do you suffer all your guilt?

I think I agree with that. I carry some guilt for things I could not have changed, but regrets are for things I could have done differently.

I'm not sure. How are you defining suffer in that question?

How much does it infect who you are, I suppose. How much does it define who you allow yourself to be. How many hours of sleep do you give to being snarled in what could have been. That sort of suffering.

Ah. Impossible to measure, then, I have no idea.

Is that enough of a purpose for you? That it's become a piece of yourself?

No. No, it is not enough of a purpose for me. But I think it is also inaccurate to say it has become a piece of myself - in a lot of ways it predates my self.

Why hold onto any of it, then?

Do you have a step by step guide on how to put it down?

More of a vague sketch now, but you'll be the first to know when I've cracked it.

Thank you, I appreciate that.

And that is the answer to your question: I cannot figure out how either.

[earnest feelings are always a little tricky. probably an elbow-squeeze is good enough.]

Who doesn't love a project, hm?

[an elbow-squeeze is good enough, yes]

I would not hate it if it had clearer directions, but you aren't wrong, I do like a project.
