[ oddly enough, riddle doesn't see the disparity in their ages to be a problem-- he would go so far as to say it wouldn't matter with anyone, because at the end of the day, he feels damaged to the point where any ordinary person, be they a peer or an elder, would struggle with him tremendously. nanami's dogmatic emotional rigidity and equally intense need for control are more helpful than genuinely distressing, at any rate-- plus, it makes receiving his unexpected tenderness all the more sweet.

not that he's going to be receiving anything of the sort anytime soon. riddle, as always, is a convoluted mix of contradictions, because on one hand he's pleased to have finally gotten under nanami's skin, but on the other...why should he be the one in trouble?! stupid mean nanami is the one who went out cavorting with the world's biggest pain in the ass!

damn... nanami is right. gojo was handsome enough, but riddle only has eyes for one man. that aside, gojo isn't really his type anyway, so wanting him as much as he's playing up really would be impossible. yet another wrench in his plan. riddle opts to simply pretend he didn't read any of that! ]

Why are you getting all cross with me when I didn't do anything?! How am I misbehaving?! Don't be unfair, Daddy. If anyone is misbehaving, it's you. You're the one who left his princess aching and lonely.

Tell you what? If you apologize and promise to never leave my sight again, I'll consider forgiving you. Well? Isn't that sweet of me, Daddy? You're lucky I adore you so much.

[ riddle knows nanami will never promise something he can't honor. it's all part of the game. ]
