Sounds like a plan: sneaking out like a pair of teenagers to go necking in a car or a movie theater, instead of a Captain and his Sarge. He couldn't think of anything he wants to more just then. And if he can sneak a second, third, fourth kiss? All the better. He really can't quite look away from the plush swell to Steve's lips, aching already to nip them, but maybe he'll have plenty of chances to do that if he bucks up, tries to be patient.
Bucky chuckles under his breath and has to visibly force himself to look away from Steve's mouth. "Yeah, let's not give the boys anything to gossip about. They're worse than a bunch of old biddies."
He grabs his jacket off the back of his chair as Steve pays the tab, slinging it nice and easy over his shoulder when Steve joins him. It's only once they're outside, in the fog drifting in on a chilly night, that Bucky lets it rest there while he digs around for his smokes and a lighter.
"I figure we'll have the camp breathing down our necks at your place," Popping a cigarette between his lips, Bucky jabs a thumb down the street. "There's an abandoned book store a couple blocks over. I bet I could pick the lock."
