Meteor Shower

Ion often looked up at the sky. There wasn’t much of anything to do aside from paperwork, and the Fon Master quarters had a picturesque window from which he could watch the sun rise or set.

Still, this far from Daath, there wasn’t as much light pollution. He’s staring almost straight up, silently watching.

“It feels almost like this is the first time I’m seeing them…”

The stars were so bright, backlit against the night sky… and then one seemed to almost dance across the darkened canvas. He blinks, not quite sure of what he is seeing. “Is that…?”
