[Now that he has Izaya under his power, everything Mikado does is very gentle and methodical. He comes back with food and feeds his new pet just as carefully as he's done everything else since he awakened, and he gives him little drinks from the glass between every few bites of the stew he's feeding him.

He doesn't really ask Izaya too many questions, for now, just quietly taking care of his needs and giving what few commands are necessary for that. It's only after he's fed him that he perches on the side of the bed, one hand resting on Izaya's leg over the blankets, and gives him a long look.]
