If they go out in public, this might get a little problematic when everyone around him will be expecting him to treat Clint like a glorified teacup yorkie.

But there are other areas Clint hasn't stumbled into yet, other places where he'll have an iron grip. Strategy, battle, loss. Deciding who lives and who dies. Morality — what constitutes right versus wrong. What constitutes hypocrisy. These are all things he's inflexible about.
