[Certainly better than Tim the ghost baby, or whatever his real name was. There's no sense in thinking of the way things might have been, for all of them--because it never would have happened--but in some perfect world, Annie would at least have been like some kind of ghost-aunt to Eve. No better person to look after her--and no one who could've deserved her more.

Most people don't get that chance, y'know. And still fewer ghosts get that chance again. Dyin' for someone you love after you've already died--that's about the best you can get. It's good, that you had her--and that she had you.

And you saved the world on top of that, which means you've got quite a bit of karmic good coming your way.
