The suddenness of it is what surprises him the most. One minute he's trying to talk his way out of being eaten, and the next he feels the sting and burn of something piercing his neck. His mouth opens to say something, anything, but for once, Stiles is at a loss for words.

Then something's being pushed against his mouth and he tastes the familiar coppery tang of blood. There's a flash of him wondering if he's being turned. Is this how vampires make new vampires? It would just be the cherry on the cake if he turned Peter's bite down and wound up getting turned into a vampire. But then the guy's saying something and Stiles pulls himself out of that daze to focus on it. 'Don't die'. Yeah, that was high on his list of every day activities. "Huh?"

His eloquence clearly knew no bounds as he stared over at the very pale blue eyes suddenly so close to him. Crap. Had he just gone further with a blood sucking fiend from beyond the grave than he had with anyone living? His life was so pathetic.
