The OVER A DRINK Meme

1. Post with your character.

2. You're at a bar. What kind of bar? Any kind you want. From fantasy taverns where various species mingle to futuristic space bars where half the drinks will probably kill you, or even an overly kitsch themed place where everything is overpriced, it's all good as long as there are drinks and company.

3. Respond to other characters. Perhaps you want to buy them a drink. Or perhaps you're inclined to be bought a drink. Maybe you saw someone you knew, or maybe you just want someone to talk to. Could be there's nowhere else to sit, and could be you want to drag them out to dance.

4. Get drunk. Or don't! Be the guest, or the bartender, or the newcomer, or even the janitor. Mingle, make friends, or lurk in a corner.

5. They say alcohol lowers one's inhibitions. Might just be time to find out how much.

[ She let out a bark of laughter. Garou could drink a lot, yes, but even their regenerative powers were a drop in a bucket compared to his. But does she learn?

Pinky swear. [He says it with a slow, lazy smile as he hooks his pinky with hers.] Won't tell a soul you can't out drink the Wolverine. S' long as you hit the dance floor with me. [Of course he can line dance.]

I'd deny it if y'did. [ She grins, but doesn't let go of his finger still entwined with hers.

Oni lowers her voice to an almost conspiratorial whisper. ] Sure you wanna let me take the wheel, Logan?

I was havin' whiskey, but now... I think I'll have vodka. [ Her grin widens, pure mischief in her eyes. If it wasn't already obvious she's thinking about the night they met, she adds ] I promise not t'start no barroom brawls this time...

That's not a promise I need or want ya ta make, darlin'. [He loves her wildness. The violence and her quick temper, even when it's directed at him.] Vodka, hm? Feelin' nostalgic? [Logan waves down the bartender and orders the vodka he knows she likes.] Wasn't my best night, was it? Think I deserve a do over.

I only said I wouldn't start it, baby. But if a powder keg's gonna blow anyway, you know I'm all too happy t'light a match.

Maybe I am, [ She looks down at their hands, the expression on her face softening somewhat. When he suggests a do-over, Oni shakes her head. ] You didn't do anything wrong. It was me... I got in my own head, and made it weird.

Woman, shut up. You didn't do nothin' wrong either. So, [He tilts her chin back up to meet his eyes, fingers tightening around hers.] We ain't thinkin' about what we fucked up. Just movin' forward, yeah?
