Sure, he lived down the street (or in this case down the hill) and he needed the work. But, he still wasn’t sure why someone as rich as Bruce mother fucking Wayne would have answered his newspaper ad. Still, it was work and he probably could knock it out in a day, at least he hoped he could. He wasn’t sure what exactly he was going to do, but maybe it would be one of the smaller rooms?

The short drive in his beat up trunk wasn’t so bad, even if there were moments where he was afraid that the old Ford wouldn’t make it up the hill (that would have been one hell of a push). Stepping out of the truck, he straightened his old flannel shirt as best as he could ( it was a gift from his folks in Smallville ) and pushed the buzzer. For some reason he felt under dressed. Something inside of him told him that maybe he should be wearing a tie or maybe a tux with tails, especially with how grand and regal the house itself looked.

Whistling his nerves away Kon walked back and forth on his heels a bit and waited for the door to be answered.

"My butler is off today," is all he says, in lieu of an apology. He leaves the door open, his only invitation to enter, and begins walking through the main entry foyer, through the long hallway, around the kitchen and towards the balcony and gardens, fully expecting the young handyman to follow. And quickly, because Bruce takes very large steps.
