Not at all. There are plenty of places across the world where sexwork is legal and regulated. Safer. It's ignorance or just ego of anyone in the government to think that saying someone shouldn't do a thing or that it's evil when it's not is going to stop people from a basic biological urge. Especially one tied so closely to healthy emotions.
