[The moment Five heard about giant monster attacks in New York he knew he had to be there, maybe this could finally be his way of helping other people.

With that in mind he'd left Louisiana at a full speed run and landed himself in a blink of an eye rather awkwardly between the arm of something unidentifiable and huge, and a sharply dressed man.

Instinctively Five throws a hand out and pushes mentally using his telekinesis to grab the arm before it managed to deliver a crushing blow to the two men.]

Move!

[ The full moon is three days away. Remus can feel it itching at his skin, his scars pulled taught because his body is getting ready to shift and shift hard. The first moon without his friends, the pack of animagi he holds dear. It's like the monster inside him knows. So he stares at the walls of the bank vault and thinks about how he needs to get out and get out now or both he and the boy he's stuck here with are going to die.

His shoes scuff against the floor and he glances up and over, the panic in the air palpable. Remus can smell the wolf off of the other one - Isaac, they called him - but it's frantic and terrified and he closes his eyes for a moment to quash his responding sinking feeling. ]

Who's Derek? [ It's the first thing either of them have said but the silence is oppressive. ] They ... they keep mentioning him. You know him, right?

[Isaac is understandably freaking out, he'd only just returned from one of the worst overnight stays of his life, finally trying to pull things together after everything, including Derek's death only to find himself captured by Deucalion's pack of alpha's again.

Its the exact same feeling of being trapped that usually terrifies him but this time he's not even sure if anyone is going to be around to save him and being stuck here with a complete stranger wasn't helping.

His breathing is harsh and erratic and there's a glow to his eyes while he's still trying to calm himself down enough to talk to this other guy.]

Derek? He's, was, my pack Alpha...

[ He's getting too old for this, for monsters attacking Manhattan, for super-powered super-individuals, for ruining his shoes as fire ravages New York. He's getting too old and yet when the boy literally appears out of nowhere to stop him from getting pummeled by the monster currently smashing everything in sight, Coulson does as told and scrambles neatly over the hood of a nearby broken down taxi.

His hand moves to his ear and Five can probably hear the burst of static it causes as Coulson speaks. ] Avengers, do you copy? We have a eight-oh-eight situation down thirty-fourth. Does anyone read me? [ The device in his ear gives out a shrill noise and Coulson hisses out a breath as he rips it from his ear and tosses it from him. The boy is still using ... telekinesis at a guess and he reaches down to pull his gun from beneath his suit trousers and hold it up. ]

If you're one of Xavier's you don't have clearance to deal with this issue. [ The monster rages above them in part due to him being immobilised and Coulson swears. ] You should get out of here.

[Feel free to go with something else, I just had this scene in my head for some reason. I had a sort of super hero style universe thing in mind, what whatever works!]

The city had been engulfed in an ocean of black. Like a tidal wave from within, the sticky liquid had spread out and swept away people, vehicles and even some of the buildings, awash in the huge deluge of black. Impossibly forming a perimeter around the city, it had ceased to flow outward and instead rose up to form a dome, solidifying and sealing the citizens inside and help out.

The source of the calamity was revealed soon, floating above the wreckage. Barely visible to most, but a speck of red noticeable due to he greatly diminished light within the sphere. The Kishin Asura. The purpose for such devastation was to unleash the potential and the inner madness of the survivors for a simple purpose. To add them to his numbers, preparation for a future war with the heroes of the world. He'd wait until a handful lived, unnatural selection from the insanity he was raining upon them producing the strongest.

Of course, he suspected he would have to deal with the heroic types inside of the dome, and his potential warriors attempting to usurp his position. He could also hear attacks on the outside of the dome, trying to break in.

Despite it all, he waiting for the battle to come to him.

[If you like, you can have some goons before the boss fight.]

[Clint stalks around the training ring, watching Coulson. One drink Coulson didn't it mean anything?]

[No, Jace isn't hidding in a closet, being all suave.]

Oh. [ Remus catches the implication of was quite easily. The way they were talking makes it pretty clear that this Derek had been important to the other boy. So the was couldn't possibly be a split they agreed on. ]

I'm sorry.

[ He lapses into silence for a moment, then speaks again. ] I'm Remus, Remus Lupin.

[Five seems suitably confused at all the military jargon, and his confusion does have a faint air of wariness about it. He wasn't exactly comfortable with the government or military, not with his past experiences at least.

He keeps one eye on the monster while concentrating on holding it back, clearly not the best of ideas because although the fist is being held, the rest of it isn't and Five doesn't exactly have time for constraint so with the same part of his mind he'd kept pushing with a second ago, this time he pulled, shredding the molecules apart from the arm and causing a fine dust to settle over his head. The monster, or whatever this was, let loose an ungodly shriek and came down with the other arm only to lose that too.

Unfortunately for Five and the agent, that kind of noise only helps to draw attention to their plight and he finds himself sliding over the same bonnet to crouch beside the guy.]

Look, 'm not, well whatever y'think I am... I can't exactly tell you who I am anyway, but just consider me t'be one of the good guys?

[ She's bleeding. One of Coulson's old ties is wrapped around her left fist, pressed hard against her side to try and keep up pressure on the wound. It's not quite a zombie apocalypse — they're not quite zombies, no matter how much Clint insists, considering the source of their violence and rage is a tiny microchip at the base of their skulls that just need to be shortcircuited or torn off — but there is something a little terrifying about it, objectively speaking. A swath of humans, alive and hungry, descending upon the nearest man, woman or child like white blood cells to an infection.

The truth is, it just makes Natasha annoyed. (She has a Thing, when it comes to experimentation without consent.)

One hand pressed to her side, the other still holding onto her glock, she looks over her shoulder at him. ]

Ready?

[ He's stripped down to his undershirt and trousers, his watch and badge and gun outside the ring. His gaze on Clint and his mouth thinned out. ]

Are you going to explain what's got you all twisted up or do we need to do this first?

We're not even sure if he's dead, not yet at least, the body's gone.. that was meant to be what we were dealing with next. Instead this happened.

[He runs a hand through his hair distractedly, luckily the guy he was with was calm enough not to be a heavily aggravating presence.]

Isaac Lahey... how'd you get mixed up in all this? Did they target your pack too?

Depending on the scene, he can be a good guy or a bad guy.

This. First.

[Clint's teeth grit as he comes in to land a punch to Coulson's stomach. His heart isn't in hearting Coulson, he just needs to direct the anger somewhere.]

[ So he's not one of the X-Men. Coulson files that away for later and watches the monster above them flail around and screech, thinking of how close the rest of them are and calculating how long they have before imminent death. ] Do not make me have to reconsider my faith in humanity.

[ It's as much of an agreement as Coulson will give because now they have bigger things to worry about. He turns around, his back hitting the door and it's easy to see the carnage from here. ] They've blocked off the east.

[He nods quickly.] I'll try not to, what d'ya think is happenin' down here, 's all over the news. I heard it all the way down in Louisiana...

[He scans the area.] 'm not even familiar with the city, I mean is there any place defensible some kinda stronghold maybe?

[For once Five welcomes his soldier's instincts, he was trained for years on how to decimate a planet, surely some of that knowledge and his powers had to be useful to defend for once.]
