The Water Fight Meme



It's hot, or boring, or both, and there's a seemingly endless supply of water. So . . . why not have some fun?

From Wikipedia: A water fight is a type of mock combat using various water-dispensing devices to soak opponents. Everything from buckets to balloons to water guns and even cupped hands cradling water can be applied in a water fight. There are many different levels of game play used by those engaging in water fights, from quick, casual fights to long, objective-oriented-style water warfare campaigns, and tournament-style games. In most but not all cases, the common objective is to soak (spray with water) one's opponents while trying to remain dry.

So let's get wet and wild!

How this works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom. Any preferences, including what you don't want, should be included as well.
→ Congratulations! Your character is in a water fight (whether they want to be in one or not)!
→ Tag around.
→ Feel free to roll RNG (1-7) for your weapon of choice if you cannot come up with one of your own.
→ Have fun, and be excellent to each other!

• 1 — Buckets of fun. (Plain yet highly effective!)
• 2 — Get the hose. (Garden, fire, or the As Seen on TV Pocket Hose! Controls the aim.)
• 3 — Water gun. (My favorites are the Super Soaker line.)
• 4 — BALLOONS! (The impact is where it's at! Toss it and run, and hope your victim doesn't notice it was you!)
• 5 — Water Games. (You're already in the pool/lake/beach/watering hole. Why not play a game? BONUS ROUND — try to find numerous characters and have yourselves a Chicken Fight!)
• 6 — Magic. (The water's coming from SOMEWHERE. It's just that no one knows exactly where. Except you.)
• 7 — Fuck da police. (In other words, the random/whatever option.)

"Hello Stiles." Isaac chuckles, stepping out from behind a tree. tossing a water balloon up and down as he eyes the other boy, amusement glinting his eyes.

"Hey, Isaa-- Hey. Is that a balloon? What are you planning on doing with that?" Suspicion was all over his face, Lahey.

"Oh this?" He says pausing for a moment aNd looking at the rubber balloon filled with water.

"Not quite sure...and yet I have some ideas." He says smirking back up at him. "Any suggestions?"

"Yeah. You should, uh, put that down. Or maybe go toss it at the wall over there. Uh huh. That sounds like the best plan." Because Stiles suddenly didn't want to get wet. It was blazingly hot out and he was totally dying, but he just didn't feel like getting picked on by the Beta. Again.

Isaac drops the balloon into a plastic bag and puts it down in front of Stiles. The bag is filled with more and Isaac has a look of a cub on his face. Limits are the Hale house and the highway. Driest person wins. He laughs picking up his own bag of balloons and darting behind a tree.

"This is war!" he calls out in good fun.

Oh shit. It figures he'd run into the one werewolf who was feeling frisky. He looked down at his 'ammo', then back up at Isaac as he ran off. "Um, I think I hear my dad calling..."

But he picked up the bag and bolted anyway No way was he getting caught without ammo.

"Nope, I would have heard him." He calls, throwing a balloon in Stiles' direction.

"Come on Stiles, live a little and have some fun!"

"This kind of fun is directed more towards people who have a penchant for physical activities." He hid behind a tree, grabbing a balloon and throwing it wildly in the general direction of Isaac. "I'm not one of those people."

"You're omn the lacrosse team...you're athletic!" He calls back, peekiung out from behind the tree and quickly rehiding when a balloon almost hit him square in the face. He laughed and through on in his direction.

"It's a lie, much like the cake. I sit on the bench in the lacrosse team." He ducked back behind the tree, wondering that had gotten into Isaac.

"Fine." Then there was nothing. No balloons being thrown, no movement, the only thing that could be heard is the whistlig of wind between the trees.

Stiles was suspicious. Isaac didn't seem the type to just give up. He poked his head around quickly, looking for a sign of the werewolf. "Isaac?"

The beta remained quiet and still, hiding behind the tree, shifting just a tad to dig his nails into the bark of the tree and tried to silenty climb the tree, water balloons held securly in his backpack as he climbed.
