V1. Politely take them hostage

[The doors and windows to the Tower suddenly slam closed, making successful clicks and whirls which signal that they were being locked. The room Tony was in had become particularly secure.

A moment later, JARVIS's voice comes on.
]

I am sorry, sir, but I am afraid you won't be leaving anytime soon. I suggest you make yourself comfortable.

[ This isn't the way he's expecting the day to go, but he's been thrown enough curveballs during the course of his life to roll with it. He looks around, recognizing the sound of the locks sliding home. He's alert and wary, though not unduly alarmed. Yet. ]

What's the problem? We under attack?

I'm afraid I cannot answer you at this time.

[However, the lack of any commotion outside or even any warnings going on about a security breech would probably indicate that that wasn't the reason.]
manofiron: (wtf rogers)

[personal profile] manofiron 2013-06-15 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, can't?

[ He frowns, not liking the sound of that one bit. ]

Why the hell can't you?
rightawaysir: (I am JARVIS.)

[personal profile] rightawaysir 2013-06-15 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Reasons.

[A beat.]

The sooner you accept the situation, sir, the easier it will be assuredly.
manofiron: (are you serious)

[personal profile] manofiron 2013-06-16 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
And those reasons are what, Jay? I'll accept it a hell of a lot faster if you start talking.

I am and have been speaking this whole time, sir.
