There wasn't much about their 'relationship' that was remotely fluffy or sweet. They weren't those kinds of people. Sherlock was not affectionate. Up until recently, his body had only been transport, and he had abstained from any show of physical intimacy, period. But Moriarty was clever. They impressed each other. They might just even understand each other. Of course, Sherlock also saw a madness to the consulting criminals ways, but he knew that he, himself, was far from ordinary. They weren't like normal, boring people, but even for them, certain needs must be met.

It was obvious on the dark hunger, there in his intense eyes, when he arrived in the remote building, soaked from the rain, his jacket heavy on his shoulders. "You leave John out of your game," he rumbled in that low voice of his, but even through the hatred, it was clear there was something simmering just beneath the surface - something enhanced by the rage.

Dating the 'British government' wasn't exactly easy. It meant they didn't get a lot of date nights, or much time to themselves, period. Of course, it didn't help that Greg was kept pretty busy himself as a detective inspector. Between that, and the both of them babysitting the younger Holmes brother, it was rare indeed that they had a moment to themselves. So, when Greg was able to convince Mycroft to take an evening off and come over to his humble abode, he was determined to make it a damn romantic night to remember. So, when he opened the door to Mycroft, there was soft jazz music playing in the background of a dimly lit flat, and the smell of food wafted from deeper inside. Greg was proud of his cooking skills, and tonight's meal, lit beneath candlelight, would definitely prove it.

"You're late," he huffed good naturedly, but there was no stopping the wry smile on his gruff face.

He was back..after almost a week marooned on an ice planet, failed to be beamed up due to the large storm in his area not allowing the Enterprise to lock onto him. He was glad to be back, he did all the formalities and and whatnot and then headed straight for his quarters that he shared with Leonard, wanting to see him the most. He entered the code and stepped in the moment it opened. "Bones?" He called out, wanting to see him the most, having missed hearing his grumps over the conn for the week, not that he would ever admit it.
