And it will come. OH, it will come. Keep wanting to do something, but have this strange, strange feeling that it'll consume the brain a bit once I start, and kind of need all remaining pieces of that brain now, so.

And yeah, fair enough. Fuck, this one's got reasons of his own going, with traces of his own hope that you know for DAMN sure he's none too likely to speak about. Even while he probably mocks her reasons, because he's 5000% sure that SWEETHEART IT WILL NOT WORK. And seeing the strength of her persistence doesn't do a whole hell of a lot for his conscience.
