The Body Heat Meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[ On one hand, it could always be worse. On the other, it could always be better. Seriously. She's not sure what's worse. Being surrounded by searing hot flames or being pitted against freezing temperatures like this.

It's funny how quickly lost they got trying to find that secret base. And to make things even better, then a snow storm decided to kick up. Luck would have it that they found an entrance to an old, abandoned mine. Luck would not have it that about the only thing it could offer them was a broken cart with a ratty, old tarp over it. She stands over it with her hands on her hips and a shake of her head.
] I guess this will have to do.

[ Silver honestly had not wanted them to stop, snowstorm or no. Yes, it was crisp and biting, and yes he was shiver, and even more he had never had to deal with such weather before in his life, but they had a mission to carry out, and Silver only stopped when he had no choice but to. And now it seemed that he was at that crossroad, where he had no choice. The boy was chilled, and was completely surprised that his body could even become so cold, having not ever experienced such a situation up until now. He had read about them in books of course, but it was nothing like the real thing. He wondered briefly if Blaze was fairing the same way he was in the unfamiliar weather with her power over flames — her own and her intolerance to Iblis' or even his own exposure to sure an environment — but he did not dare ask as they trudged onward.

When they reach an abandoned mine, Silver's ready to protest, but his body is saying otherwise. He's shivering slightly from the cold and he knows it, but a stubborn hedgehog with a goal is going to do what a stubborn hedgehog with a goal wants to do nine times out of ten.

Surprisingly, this was that one time where he gave in. ]

We'll move again when the snow's quieted then.

[ He gives Blaze a quick nod before ushering her to go in before him, noting the cart with tarp. It looked like it wouldn't do much to help fend off the chill he had, but it was better than walking around out in the heart of the storm. ]

This should be a fun night.

[ The whole sentence is dripping in sarcasm as a cyan glow encompasses his hand and he uses his powers to glance around a bit more in the cave. The cart might come in handy but that was about it.... He suppresses a shiver as he turns his attention back to his partner and gives her a soft smile. ]

[ Well, whether he wants it or not, the fact of the matter is it's between freezing to death and delaying their journey. And frankly, option two sounds more pleasing if not a bit troublesome. Especially when, yeah, she's definitely not used to this kind of weather. Even with the clothing she wears, her fur is still standing on end at the back of her neck.

So, when Silver does cede to the idea, she can't help but feel a little grateful that he's not arguing with her. Because Mister Hero, this is better than ending up a 'hogsicle, okay? Still, she can't blame him for the side eye at the cart. It's a piece of shit, definitely. But... better than nothing.

Which is why she aims a small smile his way.
] We'll make it work. Always have.

[ She reaches out and grabs the side of the tarp, pulling it from the cart and.... with a loud bundle of creeks and snaps, the whole darn thing collapses, one of its wheels shooting off when one of the sides in particular falls.

...Well then.
