Yes, although it might have been more puppy love than anything that had a chance to properly mature.

...No, I can't think of anything that I would have changed, and I don't regret the actions I took in my past.

Oh, dogs most certainly. I believe I told you about Scraps before. Sparked a lifelong love of them.

...Yes, you did. I should have excluded dogs in that. *He's pouting now.*

[Victor's slightly puzzled, but shrugs.]

I like cats too, if it helps. . . There were always a few strays around the fish shop in the square -- I fed the sometimes. And I'm quite good friends with a cat-lover, so. . .

[He thinks hard for a moment.]

I dare you to. . .stand on your head until it's your turn again.

[He never said he was good at the 'dare' part.]

*Ryota arches an eyebrow, then looks to the floor.*

Stand... on my head?

*What the devil concept is that?*

How do you do that? Teach me?

[Oh. Um. Victor was kind of banking on him already knowing. Oh dear.]

Um -- well, it's when you turn yourself over and prop yourself up on your hands. . .r-rather hard to explain without doing, and I'm not entirely sure I can. . .

[He'd be more likely to fall on his face, really.]

Maybe you could just jump up and down on one leg instead?

*Ryota just shakes his head, then attempts the headstand, now that he's been told how it goes. His brow furrows in concentration, and he allllmost has his balance.

*Almost. The position is so strange that he quickly loses his balance and his body hits the floor with a particularly resounding thud.*

[Victor watches, and winces as Ryota falls over, hurrying to his side.]

Oh! Are you all right?

ngl, I laughed.

*He just stares at Victor in confusion.*

I probably am. *But he's kind of on his back and a little stunned. And again, can't feel pain, as usual.*

I think that counts as a decent attempt, if you want to continue on.

I don't think I'm injured, but would you help me look? I don't know what to expect from that sort of fall. I can't exactly see my own back....
