Have you ever wanted your characters to go see the dinosaurs, or be part of the Time Patrol, or go find their True Love in a different era? Or maybe play out the Back To The Future scenario, and have to go and save their parent's marriage?Here is your chance!



[How To]

1. Post as your character. (Please write down the name and canon/fandom of the character in the subject line, and also if they're canon, AU, crossover or OC, etc. Please also write down preferences, scenarios, etc in the comment box)

2. Another character tags yours. Congrats, now your character is either time traveling, or dealing with a time traveler! (Having both characters be time travelers is fine, too.)

3. Thread, tag and have fun!

[How The Multiverse Works]

1. Time Paradox What Time Paradox? : It's impossible to change history, the only thing that would happen if you went and killed your grandfather is that a new Timeline in which your grandfather was killed would branch off from the original one. The good thing - You can't mess your own Timeline's history up, while you can try to create new Timelines in which things go more to your liking. On the other hand, you can't fix your own history,either.

2. Yes, You Can Change History : And if you mess things up, things wouldn't be pretty.

1. To Make Right What Once Went Wrong - At a certain point in their past, things went really wrong for them. Can they make things better, this time around?

2. The Road Not Traveled - Now they have a chance to do something different, and steer their lives, and maybe the world, along a different path...

3. Saving The World - The world was heading toward hell in a handbasket in their 'previous life'. Can they make things better, this time around?

4. We Just Wanna Get Rich, Man - They just want to use their 'future knowledge' to make a ton of money, and/or get popular and famous, etc, etc.

5. We Are The Time Tourists - So you want to go see the dinosaurs, or the mammoths, or any other historical event? The choices are endless...

6. We Are The Time Patrol - And we don't want unauthorized people muckling around with the timelines, either!

7. On To The Future - Never mind going to the past, we want to go to the future. Those descendants of ours had better not mucked everything up...

8. Honey, I Think I Broke History - You went back into the past, and history changed - and not in the ways you'd consider good. What do you do now?

You know you're having the shittiest weekend on record when you wake up in the hospital. Alone. With all sorts of tubes and wires connecting you to machines. And practically an entire arm missing.

Little Miss Jane Doe nearly screams when she realizes the gravity of her situation. But the last thing she wants to do is draw attention to herself. She doesn't even remember ending up here. Who was the good Samaritan that picked up her nearly-dead ass off the side of the road?

She left him there. No, he told her to run for it. But.

Only an idiot would even entertain the idea of heading back to the now-charbroiled remains of the scariest summer cabin in the middle of nowhere. But it's not like Mia has anywhere else to go, anyone else to run to.

Besides. She's heavily medicated. And still trying to work the drugs out of her system. Although, for some reason? She doesn't feel that sick. And she's not about to stick around for the ever-threatening psych evaluation that's most likely coming up.

Excuse her while she tries to bust out. She's done it before - under different circumstances - so she can't be too rusty.

While Steve is out having his bachelorette party -- Tony is mean and the though of Steve being forced to have a lapdance with the ladies is just too funny, and also reinforces the joke that his Sentinel is going to be the wife -- Tony is having his own sort of party.

Solo.

Not like that! He can wait for Steve to come home to have that sort of fun!

No, Tony is indulging in a little bit of technology upgrading while there's no Sentinel around to sniff danger on the air and come running in looking horrified should Tony blow himself. And that's likely going to happen as he's working on a new sort of reactor, one that might help him live longer.

He pauses when he feels the bond strengthen and knows that Steve's come home. He smirks when he realizes there's something awkward tugging there. He laughs. Steve must have had a good time with Pepper and some of the women from Design.

The elevator doors open down the hall and Tony finishes up the coil he's tightening before JARVIS warns him of the feedback overlay about to reverse it's charge. Terror seeps through the bond before the entire lab explodes. Tony slams hard into unconsciousness.

Bachelor parties in his day had involved drinking and dancing, maybe some gawking at dames, but he definitely hadn't heard of any that hired a stripper. Steve had turned about ten shades of red at that one and considered crawling under his chair. The girls--Pepper and some people from the design studio at Stark--had taken pity on him at last.

He knows he shouldn't feel so awkward about it or his body's very natural response because surely Tony had known but he still does. Ever the loyal fiance, he plans to mention it and maybe ask for a lap dance from a certain someone.

Steve takes the elevator down to the lab as soon as he's home and he really isn't that far away from Tony. Vaguely he hears JARVIS say something that means nothing to the soldier but it's the fear, bone deep terror flooding the bond, that has him moving faster. He manages his lover's name before the universe explodes.

When he begins to drift awake, he smells gunpowder and rain. Steve shifts with a groan, hands curling into the dirt and twigs under him, before his eyes snap open. He gets tangled up in himself as he scrambles to his feet--or tries, it's not working well--and gapes at the woods.

He knows this forest. The Sentinel nearly panics in his haste to feel for the bond, "Tony?" He says out loud.

Agent Dale Cooper sipped his coffee as he stared down the suspect. They had confiscated the man's strange device, which he claimed to be a screwdriver, removed his coat, and moved his ship to the impound. Odd that the man had chosen a polic box template for his TARDIS. He must have programmed the chameleon circuits to stick that way.

The TARDIS was a unique aspect of the case. The Time Patrol hadn't seen one of those in ages. Well, technically six months. Time travel and all that. But if the readings were correct, this TARDIS was from a post-Gallifreyan period. Strange.

Cooper offered the man, who had yet to give his name, a cup of black coffee.
