It was the bottom of the barrel and I scraped it.

-Post with your character and fandom, as well as any preferences.
-Make up a situation, or use random.org to help you decide.
-If you want, you or the person tagging you can roll a number between 1-8 for relationship as well!
- You know what to do next, honey. Do hurry up, the night's not getting any younger.
Possible settings:
1. Crime Scene: Dead body? Burglary? Whatever the crime, the area's been sectioned off for officers to investigate this nefarious deed, and you're getting front row seat.
2. Bar: There's always some hole-in-the-wall frequented by all sorts. The bartender keeps an eye out for trouble, and other things. Of course he keeps an ear to the ground, but it'll cost ya. Perhaps a cop or two will show up demanding answers, but no one ever takes that seriously.
3. Docks at Night: The breeze caressing your face, the sound of the water, the boats passing by...maybe you were called here, or maybe you just like the peace it brings.
4. Alleyway: There's only one way in and out of this little corridor, and what happens in it is up to you and the other character. Just watch for the shadows, if you can see through the fog.
5. Detective's Office: Not too clean, not too messy. Just perfect for the person that's needed to get this mystery cleared up.
6. Rooftop: The wind dramatically blowing about, it's the perfect place to get that person to come and meet you so you can tell them what you want. Or if you're evil, why not kill them up here? It'll be hard to escape you.
7. Dressing Room: For some reason, you're backstage after a performance, and you've gotten into one of these. The mirrors, the costumes, the flowers from fans and the various personal affects...all are present and will be your silent witnesses to whatever occurs.
8. Hideout: You've gotten to the antagonist's spot of choice. Is this a glitzy nightclub with a private room, or is this an abandoned warehouse where they-or you-carry out their plot? The choice is yours.
9. Nightclub: Someone's showcasing their talent tonight, and you may or may not care about it. But it's classic, dimly lit, and it's easy to hide in here.
10. Free choice
Possible relationships:
1. Friends: Maybe you're an unstoppable team, or perhaps your relationship is getting strained. But whatever the situation, you know this person, and you'd be there for them.
2. Coworkers/teammates/classmates: You might not be friends, but you know this person well enough to remember their name. And right now you're being thrown together for a reason.
3. Lovers: This is the one you wanted to stay with for now. Married, dating, or maybe an affair, but you two care about each other enough.
4. Enemies: Utter hatred flows through your veins when you hear this person's name. This is the one you want to take down, and you just might stop at nothing to achieve your goal.
5. Family: Perhaps it's a sibling you're meeting. Or your parent, or some form of relative. Remember that phrase "blood is thicker than water"? It just might apply here.
6. Mysterious Stranger: Someone's been eyeing you from across the room, or you've been eyeing them. Will you two speak, or shall they float out of your life? Do they hold information you seek, or do they want something from you?
7. Femme Fatale: You are or have encountered a mysterious and seductive woman, whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. Watch out, you might just get yourself into a real mess of trouble, hot stuff.
8. Free Choice

But that was until he fell in love, and not with Arkady's daughter, but with the enemy. So he waited on a quiet rooftop, away from the sounds of the city, smoking a cigarette and watching the moon struggle to break through the swirling clouds in the dark. He swore this would be the last time they met. But he told himself that every time and once was never enough, and they always found another way.
yesssssssss
Stephen Caldwell was a married man, but that part didn't bother Deangelo. No, it was the Russian woman he was married to that was the problem. That, and the fact that Deangelo's uncle was Arkady's enemy. Deangelo wanted nothing to do with the whole power struggle between his family and Arkady, and he'd even tried to resist Stephen's charms, but, well, he'd known he was a goner the minute Stephen had flashed that first mischievous smirk in his direction.
It was the danger, the thrill of sneaking around and...maybe something more, though Deangelo tried his damnedest not to read too much into the electrifying caress of Stephen's fingers across his skin.
He took a deep breath as he reached the top of the stairwell, his hand hovering just inches from the doorknob. That was all that separated him from his lover, and he could put an end to all of this now. He could put his hand back in his trenchcoat pocket and turn around, walk back down those stairs and run on back home to his warm bed. He could pretend like none of this had ever happened and finally put this foolishness aside.
Aw, who am I kidding? he thought as he firmly grasped the knob and gave it a twist, shoving the door open and stepping out onto the roof. He was in too far to ever walk away now.
His heart skipped a beat as he caught sight of Stephen silhouetted in the moonlight, smoke curling upward from the cigarette in his hand, and oh, Deangelo felt his body stirring.
"Stephen."
\o/
But Stephen wanted to be selfish about it, he wanted to have Deangelo too.
When he heard the door open, he didn't turn right away, not until he heard his name and Deangelo's voice. It made his stomach flutter as if he was a schoolboy again. Stephen turned to face him and stepped closer. The sight of Deangelo's shadow in the dark, the shape of his body and the way he moved nearly made his breath catch in his throat.
"Deangelo." He crossed to him, reaching for his hands and kissing him quickly. He had longer to feel his skin, to taste his lips, and he couldn't resist the minute he saw him. "I missed you so much."
no subject
"I missed you so much too," he breathed, nuzzling his nose against Stephen's cheek. "I was almost afraid I wouldn't be able to get away tonight. Uncle Giacomo's party ran a little long."
He didn't add that he couldn't sneak away any earlier because his brother had been watching him. He worried that Dante was beginning to suspect, but he'd deal with that later. At the moment, he was just going to enjoy his lover's company.
His hands skimmed down Stephen's arms. "Let's run away."
no subject
But up here, they were alone. No Arkady, no Dante, just them. He enjoyed the feel of Deangelo in his arms, the taste of his lips. He couldn't get enough of it when they were together. But when his lover spoke, Stephen went still in his arms at first before he started to smile.
"Darling, I would want to run away. I want to be with you. But it's not the time, it's too dangerous."
no subject
"I know, I know." And he did know that it was too dangerous, even if he hated to admit it. "I just miss you so much when we're apart."
He smiled softly and pressed kisses to Stephen's neck, trailing along his shirt collar, then kissed up the front of his neck, nibbling at his jaw and kissing his lips. "How long do you have before you have to go back?" he murmured, his hands already pushing at Stephen's jacket. He wanted it off, all the barriers between them stripped away. It had been too long.
no subject
But losing Deangelo scared him more. The other man's security was his first priority. Though, he wasn't thinking about that so much as Deangelo started to kiss his neck. It had been so long since he'd felt his lover's touch and he leaned his head back, closing his eyes, and sliding his hands up and under Deangelo's shirt too. "Long enough. More than long enough. And if I'm late, they will have to suffer without me."
no subject
But more pressing things drew his attention at the moment, and he let out an appreciative hum as Stephen's hands slid under his shirt. He loved the warm touch of Stephen's fingers on his skin, and he reached out, manipulating the buttons of Stephen's shirt and working it open. "Good, because I've got plans for you, mister," he murmured against Stephen's collarbone as he ran his hands over Stephen's chest.
no subject
He slid his hands around to his back, rubbing his palms against his soft skin. But he was certainly reacting to the way that Deangelo was touching him too. He'd missed his lover's touch so much. No one knew how to touch him like Deangelo did, not even his wife. "Oh do you now? Tell me about these plans."
