Jessica Rabbit | Who Framed Roger Rabbit
no subject
"Well now, I think I'm gonna' like this body-guard gig," Gene said, striding up to Jessica in the dim light of the dance floor, "Guess I can't very well let a lady dance alone, can I?"
no subject
"So your a body guard hm? See any danger for my body?"
no subject
"It's clear that a woman like you could have dangerous men after her. I'll have to be sure to make sure I stay by your side all night. Professional courtesy, of course."
They moved by the balcony as the music played on.
no subject
Music, moonlight, a little light mania from the toons on the grounds below, it was to be expected. But the music was sweet and the room was pleasant, if chilly as they moved past the large open space of the balcony.
"I appreciate the courtesy, ever since the Judge got wiped out things seemed safe, but you never really can tell."
no subject
He twirled her around, then dipped her low.
"Besides, people from the other side of the ocean, like me, have as much to fear from it as you do. The difference is, business is different there. We can die and kill with a bit more ease. Leaves toons like you free to keep your hands clean."
no subject
"Who would have a grudge against me? I'm just an entertainer." She bent with the dipping and somehow still managed to defy gravity with a ridiculous jiggle.
"You saying you're a killer? Some how I find that hard to believe."
no subject
He whirled her around, lifting her by the waist high into the air, before putting her back down again.
"And do you have a husband, Miss Rabbit?"
no subject
SHe gasped as he picked her up, and for someone so generous in the figure as herself she weighed barely anything at all, must be light acrylic paint.
"I do, name's Roger, Roger Rabbit. I don't know where he is, he hasn't so much as sent a post card in over three years."
no subject
no subject
"I think I'm pretty reproducible with the right paints, but deep down there is only one, Jessica."
no subject
"This is one of the most enjoyable body-guarding ventures I've been a part of," he said, crossing his arms, "And the night's been quiet, too. I don't think you have too much to worry about, tonight."
no subject
She smiled, it really was the way she was drawn, that husky voice, those outrageous proportions, te noir vamp look and actions. She was just that way, well..maybe she enjoyed it too...a little..or a lot.
no subject
"Three years is...Well, let's just say I wouldn't be able to hold myself back that long."
no subject
Well even before he left there were a lot of times Roger was just not there.
"And when he was patty cake was about as hot and steamy as things got with him. I think poor Roger would have had a heart attack if we ever even tried to have sex."
no subject
Gene swirled his bourbon in his glass before gesturing to the bottles.
"You want anything, while I'm up here?"
no subject
Jessica demurred the drink with a gloved palm. "No thanks, ink and alcohol don't mix well. But please enjoy it yourself."
no subject
"Well, the night's still young. Is there anything you'd like to do, while we wait this out?" he asked, looking out the balcony, "I'm open to ideas."
no subject
It was a novelty for her and she was drinking it in. She rested an arm around his shoulders, might as well keep her protector close, right?
no subject
His arms went around her waist. Turnabout was fair play, after all.
"Though a lot of the time I tend to bodyguard beautiful women. Those times I usually have to pull...double-duty. At least back home."
