[ The thing with Annie is he's pretty much always laughing when he talks to her. She's sweet and innocent and really nice to him, and he can't stop the stupid grin on his face when she squeaks like this. ]

Aw, no, ladybug - [ HE SIGHS and just, y'know, takes her hand and pulls her closer so he can kiss the back of it, and then steal a very brief, very gentle kiss from her, once on the lips. When he pulls away, he's grinning. ] Course I want to. I figured it was me wanting more than you, s'all.

[As if the chivalrous kiss to her hand wasn't enough, the actual kiss kind of stuns her. When he pulls away, she's left staring into space with her hand still in the air.

He wants. To go. On a date. And he just kissed her.

Instead of answering him like a normal person, she snaps into action, grabbing his face in both hands, and kissing him for realsies! Uh... for real. She means for real.]

[ He's laughing when she grabs his face, but it's muffled pretty quickly - he's all sorts of okay with this, but he's still gentle when he rests his hands on Annie's waist. Hallo, kissing, yes, good. He might even do that stupid smooth bend her backwards into the kiss sort of deal, because he's overly romantic. ]
