[Fidgets awkwardly.]

[Mother had said this was the best place to go for a honeymoon, and she was almost always right... almost. He was beginning to think Paris was a terrible place to go ever.]

[...Maybe it was nicer for people that understood French.]

[And Rapunzel is not awkward at all, merely apparently excited at the chance to go to Paris regardless of the reason.]

I can't believe we're really here! Can you believe it, Jack? This is amazing! I never thought I'd actually get the chance to come here at all. [Let alone the honeymoon! This was supposed to be the place for that sort of thing, right? Not that Rapunzel did any particular research on such things. She had read so many books upon figuring where they were going for the honeymoon she all but learnt the French by osmosis, though of course she wasn't fluent by any means. She knew enough for the basics at least.]

[He smiles lopsidedly. Well, at least Rapunzel's happy right? That meant he hadn't completely messed up.]

Yeah, all the... buildings. And people. It's super keen. [Strained grin.]

Um. Did you bring, like... a map or anything?

[And rummaging through her bag. The map, it's in there some--there it is!] Yes, of course. Not that I haven't been lost before, but I'd rather not in another country. [Brushing some hair behind her ear as she peers at it for a moment.] Right. So the hotel should be....this way! [Gesturing to the right. Honeymoon, vacation, what matters was she got to experience something new, somewhere new, with her now-husband. However this time was spent, she'd cherish it.]

[ENORMOUS SIGH OF RELIEF]

Oh thank Young! I have no idea where we are.

...

That sounded better in my head.

Relax. It'll be fine! And we're not lost, silly. [Because Rapunzel totally knows where they are and where they are going. Except not. But she does have the map so she figures they will manage. But of course she would want to make the most of their time here, getting there is half the fun as they say.]

Relax, yes. I can relax. [Straightens his coat a little.]

Alrighty then! You lead the way! I guess I'll... wheel the suitcases. Yes.

[Still fidgety! Everywhere he looked there was French! Mocking him.]

[And though she is very excited, she does notice his less-than-enthusiastic attitude.] Is...everything okay? [She could help with the suitcases if he wants. Or. whatever. It's not as fun if he isn't enjoying himself as well!]

[Biiig smile.] Oh no, everything's fine. Just trying to adjust to all the... activity.

As long as you're enjoying yourself, everything's just nifty.

[Don't mind him. He's just mad he forgot they spoke French in France. You know. Nothing big.]

....Seriously. [Because there is that look. The one that shows she clearly has doubts here, Jack. :l But how does one forget that French is spoken in France, really?]

Yup! [Cue the blank expression he only uses if he's lying through his teeth.]

[He's Jack. How could he not forget?]

....Fine. Let's just get back to the hotel. [Whatever it is, maybe they could talk about it there, in more privacy if there really is a problem. She pore over the map and lead the way, trusting him to bring the bags as she walks, her long hair braided back and nearly touching the ground as she makes her way to the hotel.]

[And he follows along behind, wheeling one suitcase with each hand.]

[Really, he's not paying any attention to where you're going. He just has to follow Rapunzel's hair, right? Naturally, he bumps into several fellow pedestrians along the way. If they object (in French! how dare they! French D:< ) he growls Chinese at them in his high pitched voice until they back off. He is Very Mature.]

[And she keeps walking, stopping every so often to make sure he hasn't gotten lost somehow and isn't right behind her, giving him a look if he starts snapping at the pedestrians. But mostly seems glad with their progress and it doesn't take too long before they find the hotel and are able to check in. She seems impressed and is quite excited when they get to their room.]

[Jack looks around the room with interest too. It is a nice room. Very nice. There's even a minifridge! ...Ok those are kind of standard actually. He leaves the suitcases by the door and starts investigating the appliance anyway.]

[Finally he seems excited too!] Rapunzel! I could so turn this into a mini-tank!

[wut]

[She seems pleased, but then, after a life with Gothel it's probably hardly surprising, as standard as the room may seem for the most part, she honestly wouldn't know.]

Into a what? [Genuinely interested and curious.]

[Oh, it's still pretty nice. It's well decorated and large, with very nice furniture... It's just the fridge that's eliciting the greatest response isn't that special. Also it may soon be a tank instead.]

A mini-tank! I can make the treads out of sheet and hangers, and it can shoot... um...

[Lost expression.]

[Excited again!] These little bottles of liquor!

C'mon, you can help me take it apart! [:DDD]

Are you sure that's a good idea....? [Because she isn't sure the hotel staff would be too appreciative of it, even if Rapunzel does encourage his creative ideas.]

Of course! Robots are always a good idea!

[Pauses.] Well... ok, maybe it wouldn't actually be a robot, but...

Mini-tank, Rapunzel! Mini-tank! [He is so excite!]

Well, okay. But I'm not taking the blame if the hotel staff don't approve. You work on that and I'll sort out our things then. [Mostly things like getting their toothbrushes and such to the bathroom and the like. He can tinker and have his fun for now.]
