Massage Meme

Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.

How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!

Type

001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.

002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.

003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.

004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.

005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.

006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.

007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?

008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.

009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.

001. Friend - getting a massage from a friend can be a wonderful bonding experience. And exacerbate already existing tensions ;D

002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.

[ ravyn takes a seat at one of the empty park benches, a sandwich lunch pack by his side and a bottle of tea in one of his hand. the weather has been pretty cold these days, but it seems that today, miss sunshine decides to show her face.

he watches the life going by, couples walking, parents with their children, some singles with their pets. he smiles as he sips on his tea, unconsciously flexing his left hand. when a man steps closer, ravyn smiles up at him with a nod, scooting over a bit to make space for him. ]

[John wanted to take advantage of the nice weather, and what better way than a walk? He misses having someone to walk with, of course, even if that certain someone only complained about the idiots around them, or kept a running commentary of deductions. Still, the fresh air would do him good, after being cooped up in his office all afternoon.

He didn't want to bother someone already sitting on that bench, but the man seemed pleasant enough, and didn't seem to mind. John smiled a bit and nodded, before taking a seat.]

[It's not a bad idea. She's finally convinced herself of that. The constant fighting and throwing and bleeding? Takes a toll after awhile.

So, she's sitting in a doctor's office, having agreed to his procedure. Simple and professional. She's removed her coat and vest and even her usual shirt, leaving a short-sleeved "shirt" made from the top of a shift. Just for this. That way it's easier to get at her arms and back without the loose shirt creating unwanted folds.

Of course, the skin that's shown isn't pretty. There are fading bruises and plenty of scars. Cuts, punctures, and burns are all prominent, and she doesn't mind in the slightest.]

[A massage such as this can have many beneficial effects... and it's a nice break for John, who has been treating minor colds for the better part of the day. Walking into his office, holding Gretel's simple file, he looks up at her with a polite smile.]

Gretel? I'm Doctor Watson. [He offers his hand to shake hers.] It looks like we'll just be doing a simple medical massage today, yes?
