It's that damn plurk meme. Sort of.

This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:

[Let's face it. If they did wind up having to share a bed for some reason, Orihime would be respectful of his space, and also, blankets are necessary. It's strange, being this close to him...and kind of comforting, even if her stomach is a tangle of butterfly knots. This isn't really appropriate, but she's not about to make him sleep on the floor or anything. Besides, she feels safer knowing he's at her back.]

They were--she checked them several times over--but instead of neutralizing certain magical traits, as she planned, her subject instead developed traits that neutralized magic. She has empirical evidence of that.

It sneezed on her, and now she has next to none of her powers. More or less.

Aww, the poor sweetheart felt so bad about it, too, but she didn't have it in her to be upset, not at it. Of course not! Losing her powers was very inconvenient in a lot of respects, but this was hardly the first time it's happened. The mutation itself was an entirely unprecedented and fascinating event, too. Oh, she was going to love investigating it further when she could!

In the meantime, she had other projects, so this worked out for her. Until it didn't. After some time, she had a little accident with a compound that made a big splash on her tent, and before she knew it, it had largely unwoven all around her. Normally fixing it, or making another tent entirely would be as easy as breathing, but she was out of breath for the moment. That...left sharing. O-oh, but she couldn't! That would be imposing. And Edgar was, well, he was a man for starters. It would be a hassle, she decided, she could easily sleep--

And then with only a single rumble of thunder for a warning, the ocean decided to upend itself from the sky.

She was drenched in seconds. All of her things were thankfully safe and dry--they'd all been enchanted beforehand--so that was one less thing to concern herself with.That still left a big one, though. Even after having the decision more or less made for her didn't make it any easier to ask, but she did, and Edgar was more than gracious.

After getting settled anew and changed, she ends up next to him. It's been a trying, tiring day, but she still can't quite sleep, just yet. It's just a little too surreal.]</sub>

[ For the most part, Annette is used to sleeping alone. What, with Richter gone so much, it's only natural that she is used to having the bed all to herself. Even so, she usually doesn't move a lot -- she wakes up in the same position she originally fell asleep in.

Tonight, however, is far different. Despite the fact that she had been happy that Richter returned home earlier than anticipated, it didn't stop Annette from going to bed early; she'd done nothing but run around all day, cleaning, cooking, and doing chores in general. She had been absolutely exhausted.

While usually she doesn't move around much, tonight she has. She hasn't been able to get comfortable, really, and even in her sleep she squirms, pushing the covers off one moment and then pulling all of them in her direction the next. Even when Richter eventually joins her, it does not seem to settle her at all.

She does, however, finally stop briefly after tangling almost all of the sheets up, and it's hard to imagine just how comfortable she really can be as one of her arms are dangling precariously off of the edge of the bed, face buried so deeply into her pillow it's a surprise she hasn't suffocated herself yet.

This pause does not last long, however. She huffs into the pillow, unconsciously stretching out and practically shoving her knee into poor Richter's side, mumbling something incoherently to herself. ]

[ this is the way things usually happen. there's a bed, usually two, and while the night may start with hansel occupying one or half of it, he more often than not ends up on the floor. gretel stopped questioning why a long time ago; she thinks it might have something to do with feeling more prepared to spring into action if something attacks in the middle of the night when he's closer to the ground. sometimes she'll try to drag him back up into bed, but come morning he's back on the floor again.

they're somewhere in denmark this week, in the middle of the winter, and the air's more frigid than either of them are used to. she's pulled thick stockings on along with her typical nightshirt and there's an extra blanket for them both, but she still wakes freezing in the middle of the night. she sits up in bed, rubbing at her eyes and neck before glancing out the window. there's still a few hours to daylight, by the position of the moon, and she leans over the edge of her bed without bothering to check if hansel's still in his. sure enough, he's there, curled up under one of the blankets and using his arm as a pillow. his back is to her, but she can make out the slight trembles even in the dark.

she doesn't think about it twice, just swings her legs over the side and drags the covers from her mattress with her. one's draped over hansel's form and she wraps herself up in the other, her forehead and cheek pressed between his shoulders. ]
