SCENARIOS
1. TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR The old standby. You're stuck until someone can rescue you, or until one or both of you can get this box moving again.
2. TRAPPED IN AN UNDERGROUND BUNKER Maybe there's a nuclear winter, or maybe you were just exploring and wandered in here. Either way? Right now, you're stuck.
3. TRAPPED IN A CAR You were driving long-distance when your ride broke down, so now you're stuck in the middle of nowhere until else someone happens by.
4. TRAPPED IN A MALL AFTER HOURS Somehow, you managed to get stuck in the mall after closing. Maybe you fell asleep in the bathroom, or were hiding in the back of the bookstore, but now the doors are locked, and you've got the whole place almostto yourself.
5. TRAPPED IN A MAZE Entering that maze seemed like such a good idea, didn't it? Only now you can't find your way out, and you're pretty sure you're not alone in here...
6. OTHER/COMBO Any other scenarios that tickle your fancy.
2?
When he rose that night, he decided to explore the adjoining rooms rather than leaving immediately.

It was absolutely perfect, except his hearing picked up movement in the adjoining tunnels. He frowned and sniffed the air, but aside from the scent of dirt and old air, he nose didn't pick out anything special. No, there was definitely no human living down here, not even any large animals that he could tell the spores of either.
He had enough food and water stored away, he can safely last a few days until the curse ran its monthly course.
no subject
Then again... whatever it was, it was between him and his exit. Damnit.
He moved nearly soundlessly down the tunnel toward the sound of the heartbeats. When he was close enough to catch a scent, it was a fairly familiar one. Werewolf. He scowled. Werewolves were just about a vampire's worst enemy, aside from hunter humans, and Dean hadn't fed yet tonight.
Maybe he could sneak around it? He moved forward, hoping the wolf's night vision wasn't as good as his own.
no subject
"Who's there?!" Eliot demanded, turning around in the dark and trying to find the source of movement. It was strange, weirder than anything than he sensed before.
He turned slowly in the darkness trying to pinpoint the direction it came from. "Come out!"
no subject
"I don't suppose I can convince you to just stay out of my way and let me leave, huh?" He asked, stepping close enough to be seen faintly. Hopefully not close enough to be pounced on.
"Got no interest in whatever wolfy things you're up to down here."
no subject
Lucky for Dean, Eliot was a lone wolf, one who hated even considering himself a wolf. Which was why there was a loud growl in response to the last thing the strange creature said. He took offense to that.
"I'm not doin' anythin' wolfy down here. You're not goin' till you answer some questions, pal. Who are you?" More importantly, why couldn't he sense him like he could normal humans?
no subject
Dean crossed his arms over his chest and watched Eliot carefully. At least he didn't seem to be the 'swing first and ask questions later' type. They were really obnoxious and usually tasted funny.
"My name's Dean. Why? Wanna be penpals? Gotta tell ya... I'm not much for letters."
no subject
"Wouldja stop callin' me that? I'm not a fuckin' animal!" He released another rumbling noise deep from the recess of his chest. He too crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well, Dean, strange place to find someone snoopin' round. What're you doin' down here?" As if he had the right to demand that without volunteering the same information. Then again, he asked first.
no subject
"Dude, maybe if you told me what I should call you, I wouldn't have to make shit up?" Wouldn't have to, but the odds were good that he still would. "And I don't see why I should tell you why I'm down here. What's it to you?"
no subject
"Cause I was here first. Which makes you trespassin' and... unwelcome." Again, he tried to sniff the air yet again, he could gain only a very muted smell from the other. There was definitely a scent, but not the same as any creature he met.
Finally more curious than annoyed, he gave into asking, "What are you?"
no subject
But, Eliot started it, so there!
"I'll cop to the unwelcome part, though. I get that a lot." He laughed at the question. May as well answer. It wasn't like vampires were a big secret anymore. Also, it was kind of a relief that Eliot didn't recognize a vampire's scent right away. It gave good odds that he was a new werewolf and that gave Dean more of a chance if Eliot decided to get head-rippy. "I'm a vampire."
no subject
"Vampire?" Scoffing at the idea already, the retrieval specialist was about to reject it outright when he went over the facts in his mind. No living scent, inability to pick out the other's presence save for when a physical noise was heard, and a certain gut feeling, perhaps primal instincts, that had been screaming at him ever since Dean spoke up.
If he could be a werewolf, then why not the other a vampire? And Eliot wasn't a new werewolf by far, but he had managed to avoid most supernaturals aside from his unfortunate brush that landed him with the curse.
His chuckle died in his throat. "You're fuckin' serious."
no subject
Most people didn't react too well to such things, but he figured a werewolf probably wouldn't be the jumpy sort.
"On the plus side, my grocery bills have gone way, way down."
no subject
Ah hell. Werewolves were real and now apparently vampires were too.
The problem was now it left him with one insanely dangerous guy who possibly could see in the dark and may be more of a danger to him than he originally thought. Just the idea made him raise his hackles.
"Alright... you said you were just headin' out?" Maybe letting the guy pass would be the best idea right now. He came here to hide for the upcoming three nights, not get in a wrestling match with a bloodsucker. It was already much too complicated.
no subject
"That was the idea. It's night, I'm hungry, and I don't like leaving my car unattended for too long." Seriously. If anybody had messed with his car while he was sleeping during the day, he would find them and kill them.
"Unless you really want a sleepover. I'm not much for campfire stories and make-overs, though, gotta admit."
no subject
"Then by all means, go ahead." He stepped back to one side to show he had no intention of blocking the other's way.
Which was too bad considering this was his first run in with a supernatural ever since the time he met the werewolf and, had the vampire been of better disposition, he wouldn't mind asking some questions. He wasn't even sure he wanted to inform the other man that he saw some punks taking apart the aforementioned car outside when he was on his way in. Dean will find out soon enough.
As the vampire passed, he muttered added under his breath, "Hope you're an AAA member."
no subject
"See you around, Eliot. Don't get fleas."
He reached the door and went to open it, finding it difficult to move. Interesting, particularly with his above human strength. That did not bode well. When he finally wrenched the door open, the motion was accompanied by a shower of dust and rocks from the tunnel on the other side. Well. Fuck.
Dean blinked at it a moment, absently dusting himself off. "You neglected to mention you broke the tunnel on the way in..."
no subject
The dust and debris falling in was as much news to him as it was to Dean. "That's because I didn't," he answered in honest surprise as he worked his way back to where the vampire was.
"It wasn't like this when I came in."
no subject
"Guess there was a reason for those 'Danger: Do not enter' signs outside. Damnit." He heaved a sigh and stepped back. Now that the dust had settled, he could see the tunnel out was pretty solidly blocked.
He glanced back at the other exit from the room. As far as he knew, it went deeper underground, but he supposed there could be another way out. Hopefully there was, because digging this one out was going to suck hard and take weeks, by the look of it.
"Next time, I'm sleeping in the trunk," he muttered and turned to head for the other tunnel. Man, his luck just never changed.
no subject
He looked around, then although he hadn't intend to start using his supplies so quickly, he also didn't expect his stay to be quite so enforced. "But you're as trapped as I am, so I'll guess not."
Digging into the utility belt he had on him, he produced a flashlight that he shone briefly at Dean before redirecting its beam to the ground. "Guess we can only go deeper in. Did you come this way?"
They can explore together for now, but with the fact that Dean was a vampire in mind, Eliot kept a close ear for any sudden movements on behalf of the undead.
no subject
He flashed a grin at Eliot when the light passed over him. "Feel free to think I did, though. My maker keeps telling me to learn to be a proper villain and all. I can tell him I have an arch-enemy when I get out of here."
He pointed back toward another of the tunnels. "I slept down that way. Didn't go all the way, though, so I don't know if there's a way out that way."
no subject
"Great, that's fuckin' great. Time to go explorin'." He frowned at the other's cocky attitude but until they got out, or he felt like taking the vampire on, he will need to learn to tolerate it. "How old are you anyway, bein' vampire and all?"
Without waiting for Dean, he started off towards the indicated question. "Most of these places have more than one exist in case things like this happen. What I don't know is where it is or if that's already been sealed."
Then a sudden jump in topic. "You can see in the dark?"
no subject
"My age depends on how you look at it. I was twenty-five when I was turned, so technically I'll be twenty-five forever. But, seeing as it's 2007 now, I'm twenty-eight."
He followed after Eliot, nodding at the observation. God, he hoped there was an opening somewhere.
He glanced over at the question. "Yep. Perfect dark vision. One of the perks of my new, pulseless lifestyle."
