The room you wake in is unfamiliar. The decor is red and gaudy, the pillows and other features of the room ♥heart-shaped♥. The bed is, thankfully, comfortable.
And there's someone in the bed with you. Are they male, female, or otherwise? A total stranger, or an old lover? Older than you, or younger than you? Well, no matter who they are, even if you would never dream of it otherwise, you're suddenly filled with an urge to have sex with them. Right here, right now. And so are they, so that should work out just fine.

Let's be real. Sometimes, you just want to play smut. Good old Porn Without Plot has a certain appeal, right? Other times, you just want to throw two characters together, but you're worried about how they would actually get to the deed or if they would even do it. Well, this meme takes out all the hassle. Let's indulge in some shameless smut.

[ If this is Angel's idea of a waiting room, Charles should have little doubt as to what she thinks about the two of them. It's fine and good to blunder in and find out for himself on the blithe, whoops-I-dropped-my-scruples-somewhere days like this one, but sometimes it's more fun to mute everything and pick up on thoughts like a Richter scale's needle jumping across the page.

In that sense, this is one hell of a spike.

But Charles is well practiced at two things, thanks to university: handling alcohol and hiding his proclivity to take sex where he can find it, even if being caught means scandalizing the buttoned-top public. He's just more honest about wanting occasionally to be drilled into the mattress by another man than any number of husbands he runs into in his day to day social interactions, and hasn't felt the need to get married or find a girl to go steady with to cover it up.

So thank goodness Erik keeps pouring him more champagne and that in no way will affect his ability to silently leer at the other mutant, right?

He can afford to be informal around Erik while they wait, loosing his tie half in actual physical discomfort, half to test the waters and see where this turns out. ] Bit sultry, don't you think?
