INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Post a comment with your character's name and canon.
2 - If you would like, write a note on where your character is and what they're doing.
3 - Comment around to others and play threads!
4 - Use Random.Org if you get stuck for ideas.
WHERE ARE YOU?
1 - ISLAND. Out in the middle of the ocean, and no radio to transmit a distress call.
2 - WILDERNESS. Out in an endless forest. Maybe you got lost camping; maybe you're on a journey.
3 - DESERT. Sand. Cacti and scrub. You're gonna get real thirsty, real fast, and watch out for how cold it gets at night.
4 - RUINS. Ancient ruins, or is it an abandoned city? Either way, the wreckage of civilization may offer shelter.
5 - FROZEN WASTELAND. Everywhere you look, there's nothing but ice and rocks.
6 - SPACE. Alone on an alien planet, or drifting in a spaceship. How do you survive with only the materials you have around you?
7 - BATTLEFIELD. It's a war zone, and you're trying to make it through. How do you hide and stay alive?
OTHER.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
1 - FOOD It might take weeks to kill you, but you're hungry now.
2 - WATER. Even more importantly, clean water, unless you want to get sick.
3 - SHELTER. It's raining, or snowing, or maybe you saw a tornado touch down a few miles back. Get inside now.
4 - WEAPONS & AMMO. Those zombies aren't far behind you, and your rifle's useless unless you have the shot for it.
5 - CLOTHES. Whether it's a heavy jacket and a good pair of boots or your buddies left you naked halfway along the Appalachian Trail, what you need is some clothes.
6 - HEAT. Time to build a fire, or share a blanket.
7 - THAT THINGAMAJIG. Got plenty of cans of food, but no can opener. Maybe your last pair of shoelaces broke. Maybe you're in desperate need of a pair of solar-charged batteries for your industrial-strength hairdryer. Either way, it's just one little thing that you need, and you can't seem to do anything without it.
8 - OTHER.
Wreck-It Ralph | Wreck-It Ralph | SPOILERS possible
1 (Since Sugar Rush is an island pff)/3/SPOILERS
ALSO LONG TAG IS LONG))[Oh the woes of being homeless. Homeless in your own game! Imagine that.
Outcast would be a better description though. She was like a homeless person- she refused to actually give herself the title of a hobo. "The Glitch." The one nobody wanted around, or wanted to be around. Figures, it'd been that way for 15 years now.
Same old, same old. That was until, of course, those rotten racers decided to gang up on the child, smash her kart, and push her down into the mud. Lucky for her the very wrecker she hadn't been on very good terms with ran them off, and after the deal they'd made she'd been stuck to his side ever since. He was her key to actually getting to race- ..along with that golden medal of his of course.
As of right now though, Vanellope hadn't taken Ralph to the kart factory just yet. She couldn't help but feel like it would be too soon- if they tried to sneak in right now, they would be caught almost instantly, since King Candy probably had all eyes and ears on alert searching for them. Well no matter, they'd be able to get the kart made in no time- right?
Of course luck has been fluctuating quite a bit for the little girl lately- she'd just been contemplating what to do next when the cotton-candy clouds overhead started to cluster together and grow ominously dark- and without warning she and Ralph were now stuck in a torrential downpour.]
Aaaghh, come on slow-poke, we're gonna get SOAKED out here if ya don't speed it up!!
[She yells back at him over her shoulder as she darts towards in the direction of her home in Diet Cola Mountain. Good gumdrops, she wasn't sure she'd even be able to FIND the mountain in all of this heavy rain.]

[Last night and today had been fairly awful for Ralph, first there was the disaster at the party for the 30th anniversary of Fix-It Felix Jr., then there had been his ordeals in Hero's Duty, accidentally crash landing in Sugar Rush, Vanellope stealing his medal and causing it to vanish until the race was won, and being stuck in a cupcake, along with various minor problems in between.
While he had a little bit of sympathy for the little girl for being bullied, he still was irritated at her for using his medal and insulting him and Hero's Duty. There just was something about her that got under his skin.
But, for now, she was his only hope for getting his medal back, so he was stuck working with the brat.
She had said that they'd be able to get a kart, all he had to do was break something. The sooner they got that kart, the sooner he'd get his medal back.
However, they hadn't gotten anywhere close to getting a kart when it started raining.
Ralph groaned and rolled his eyes, of course something like this would happen. It didn't rain in Fix-It Felix Jr., the night sky was always clear. So, even though he lived outside, he didn't have to deal with adverse weather.
He's able to use a massive hand to easily shield his eyes from the downpour and he's able to squint and see a bit easier through it.
Ralph snorts and keeps on following behind her, at the rate his luck's going, he wouldn't be surprised if he was absolutely drenched by the time they got to whatever shelter Vanellope had in mind.]

Lollipop trees and jawbreakers as far as the eye could see- and there on the horizon was the mountain. But it was waaay off. So far that they would surely be soaked through before they got anywhere close.
So she looks up at Ralph out of the corner of her eye, her hoodie starting to get drenched.]
Too far to go to my home- ...so come on, try to use that brain ya don't have! Help me find somewhere we can stay dry!
no subject
Me? This is your game, you know where everything is!
[He snorts and glances aside.]
If I had to make a guess, though, there might be enough cover in the forest. It'd be more than being out in the open, that's for sure.
no subject
Well stop bein' a big baby and come ON then!
no subject
I'm not the one whining about the rain!
[He was pretty wet by now and figured that at this point, it wouldn't really matter how much he got rained on. It'd still take a long time for him to dry out.
The water may also have something of a cleansing effect on him, he might smell just a bit better after this soaking.]
no subject
If anything the forest would keep them relatively dry until the storm passed.]
no subject
He still plods along behind Vanellope at a medium pace, there's no point in running, and if he kicked up water in puddles, he'd just get even wetter.]
no subject
Yuck.
no subject
He gives a disgusted snort.]
So now what? At least they can't do the race in this mess, but that means we can't get your kart, either.
no subject
[She grimaces, shaking her boot when she sees she's somewhere stepped in a huge puddle- and now both feet almost to her ankles are covered in mud. Great.]
Well listen- ..since we're stuck here for a while, lemme get one thing straight. We ain't gonna get nothin' done if we keep arguin' about everythin'. I'm just tryin' to race- ..you're jus' tryin' to get your medal. If I win, we both win. Understand?

An' I'm not allowed t'race, so sneakin' into the factory isn't something that's gonna be easy.

Uh, if you couldn't exactly tell, stealth isn't my strong suit.

We'll-....we'll just hafta go when they least expect it then. Maybe at night, or early in the mornin'...
