everything is better with princesses
DIRECTIONS:
oo1. comment with your muse & add preferences in the subject
oo2. use RGN to get your prompt (1-20)
oo3. tag around and have fun!
oo4. don't forget to avoid those dragons. unless you like dragons.
oo1. Badass Princess ♛ She is no ordinary princess—she wouldn’t be interesting if she was, now would she? No, this girl does not need a knight to save her, not when she can often use a sword better than he. But what happens when she gets in over her head?
oo2. The Wise Prince ♛ Often, this prince isn’t the sweet and charming one you see running around the woods hunting deer and the like. Nope, he’s stuck in meetings and taking care of paperwork, ensuring his people are happy. Can someone convince him to take a break?
oo3. Daddy’s Little Villain ♛ This is new. A beautiful as she might be, beware: this girl is just like her evil sorcerer uncle or father, and is twice as crafty. Girls can’t be evil villains, after all, so that means she has something to prove. Good luck!
oo4. Prince Charmless ♛ He was supposed to be kind and honorable, brave and generous, but it turns out that he is the exact opposite of all your dreams. Demanding or cold, a total jerk, or just an annoying pain in the butt, he is no royal ideal.
oo5. Fallen Princess ♛ It might not have been her fault, or it might have been. Either way, this princess no longer holds a royal status, and is living amongst commoners. Is it a secret? Is she a princess in hiding? Or is she just biding her time?
oo6. The Evil Prince ♛ Such a lovely smile! But watch out for those sneaky eyes. A prince doesn’t have to be a wonderful example of humanity. Sometimes, he wants what everyone else does: more money, more land, more power, but he can get it with some planning.
oo7. Princess Classic ♛ Think Disney: she is the epitome of perfection, beautiful and always kind, more than willing to be a merciful ruler, and always under some pesky spell that denies her one true love for a while. But is it so great living up to such expectations?
oo8. The Warrior Prince ♛ Forget about castles and rolling hills with trouble brewing outside of the kingdom. Determined and honorable or jaded and cold, this kind of prince knows what the battlefield is like. But can he learn to relax or handle a peaceful meeting well?
oo9. Princess In Rags ♛ Cinderella knows exactly what this means. Like a fallen princess, she has been forcibly stripped of her wealth, title, and decent clothing. However, she doesn’t let that put her down. Good times will come back to her, but how?
o10. The Rebel Prince ♛ Maybe he doesn’t want to rule. Maybe he wants to go out and kill that dragon, or maybe he has left a princess at the altar. This prince has a rebellious streak and nothing can stop him from his goals. But where will his hotheadedness take him?
o11. Spoiled Brat ♛ She is totally not a princess, not the kind we like to think of anyways. Rude and demanding, she never thinks of anyone but herself, or if she does, then it’s always for some other selfish reason. Can someone teach her a lesson?
o12. The Changeling ♛ It’s a hard thing to do, but sometimes the royal heir has to be hidden away for his own safety. But there is always something that makes them stick out. Be it a birthmark or their own natural talents, how does he discover his true lineage?
o13. Well, Excuse Me, Princess! ♛ What is her problem? This guy has bent over backwards for her, and all he wants in return is a little credit or maybe an appreciative kiss on the cheek. But maybe she does like him, or there is some pesky princess protocol stopping her.
o14. The Cursed Prince ♛ It’s not just princesses who get placed under curses. Guys do too! But what horror has befallen our beloved prince? Is he ugly? Can he not speak? Is he now some horrible beast? Or is he under a sleeping spell waiting true love’s first kiss?
o15. Winter Royal Lady ♛ A princess is one thing, but a Queen of Winter is another. It’s a step up, and for another, whatever season or entity you choose to be the sole ruler of, you can bet it gives you a lot more credit and power too. Don’t let it get to your head!
o16. The Dethroned Prince ♛ He’s brooding and angry, and maybe he deserved to be dethroned. Then again, he could be the dashing prince who has to run from the law because it’s turned against him and the people, doing his best to bring back true justice to the land!
o17. Girl In The Tower ♛ It’s one of the most classic tropes, a princess stuck in a tower guarded by magic spells or dragons. Sometimes it’s for her own safety, or because of a curse, or because someone wants to use her. Can you free her? Or does she even want freedom?
o18. The Sheltered Prince ♛ He doesn’t know a thing about life outside of the palace, and that isn’t quite his fault. At least he wants to learn about the outside world and improve himself, right? Have some patience and show him around. This prince could surprise you!
o19. Fairytale Ending ♛ It is the goal of every fairytale we have come to know, and the goal of most stories. Who doesn’t like a happy ending? The trick is, though, how to get to it. What trials will you go through? What is your happily ever after anyways?
o20. Roll Again ♛ Looks like you get to decide your own fate by picking your own adventure, or leaving it up to chance again!
19. Let's get Lulu that happy ending. Also, possible spoilers for CG those reading this thread~
Something as crazy as me, probably]][It had happened by chance, really. Her family had hidden her away from the Britannians with the power to control the Millennium Ring, one of the seven ancient artifacts sought after many, including both sides of the resistance, for their powers to use against the other. And, after her family had been killed off in a battle of the resistance, she was lucky to be found by the Japanese's resistance leader, Zero. He took her into the safety of the group, offering protection. When he discovered that she was the carrier of the Ring, he also found out about the Spirit that inhabited it. Naturally he had questions, but the Spirit was elusive, if not downright vague about his answers. Still, he was convinced easily enough to fight for the Resistance's side, even if some of his methods Zero/Lelouch didn't agree with, especially when it involved putting his 'host' in dangerous situations, or things that made her uncomfortable, if not outright terrified.]
[The final straw was that Ryou had been run to the point of exhaustion, and the Spirit had gone too far in his 'business'. Lelouch had had enough. He had become Emperor and there wasn't a need to seek out the other items anymore. Everything was becoming peaceful again, and Ryou may have had a small crush on the Emperor, but the Spirit wasn't needed anymore and he knew it. Lelouch commissioned to have the item destroyed, and any of the others to be destroyed upon discovery. The Spirit fought back, threatening Ryou's life if he even came near her or the item she carried.]

So, it took him far longer then he would have liked to look in on his guest. He had given her a room in the palace, of course, much like he had done with the others that had chosen to stay with him (or he had convinced, with his way with words) and knocked once as a way of warning. The Spirit of the Ring did not scare him, even though he knew he had to tread carefully with the spirit's homicidal tendencies.]
Ryou?
no subject
[She was already waking up before she hear the knock on the door and Lelouch calling her name. She sat up immediately, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.]
The door is open...
no subject
Have you been able to rest?
[Meaning, has the spirit been up to his old tricks again?]
no subject
[Well, some sleep was better than none at all.]
A little bit... at least an hour... maybe two, I think.
no subject
Better then nothing.
[His eyes flicker over towards the ring again.]
Everything has been quiet?
no subject
[But enough about her, how about you, Lulu?]
How are the negotiations going? Well, I hope?
no subject
As well as they could be, considering. The majority of people want change, after all, it's just giving them a reason to believe it's possible.
[He shakes his head.]
It'll take them a little while longer to see that all my father's rule was going to do was stagnate this country and if left unchecked, the world. Most of my siblings would have been no better.
[He doesn't mention his original plan - the one where he became dictator and took over the world, setting the stage for taking all its hatred and letting it die when he died by Suzaku's hands.]
no subject
[But then her role was also questionable for the future. She didn't have royal blood or political power like Lelouch and Nunnally and their family; she wasn't much a fighter like Suzaku or the other Resistance members either; outside of being the vessel for the Spirit, there wasn't much purpose for her anymore, especially with everything dying down now. No matter how much anyone would try to deny it, she knew the truth. She couldn't stay here forever, vessel or not. Feeling dejected, she looked down at her hands that were in her lap.]
And... what happens now?
no subject
It's up to them if they wish to follow my lead or not. I've already begun dismantling the number system and helping the Areas regain their names and identities.
[There's a faint quirk of the lips as his violet eyes study her.]
But that's not what you mean, is it?
no subject
...I want to help you. I do. [There was a brief look over at the Ring on the nightstand, looking harmless and innocent.]
However, I can only do so much and go so far before... before I'm pulled back by... my chains.
no subject
That's part of the reason I came to see you.
[He drops his arms, leaning forward slightly to get her attention.]
I've come to offer both you and your spirit a proposal of sorts.
no subject
...What sort of proposal?
no subject
How much do you know about the Ring? How much do either of you know, to be more precise.
no subject
... He probably knows more than I do. [Not that that would help much, knowing how secretive and vague he could be when he wanted something.]
My father gave me that Ring when I was young, something that he had picked up from his travels and had thought it was a nice present, not knowing what it truly was at the time.
I know that it can sometimes work as compass, sometimes it will lead to other items, other times it can lead to other treasures or people with great power, but that ability is rarer. [Probably how she was lead to Lelouch at least, with his Geass power.]
And... any unworthy person that puts on the Ring will burn them alive from the inside out, down to their very soul. [The Ring was no stranger to being 'stolen' from the young girl. She had seen what it could do to petty thieves.] It doesn't choose it's owners lightly. From what I've gathered from the Spirit, within it's long life time, the Ring has only been 'owned' by three people, myself the most recent one.
no subject
[Not that his information network hadn't been vast as Zero, but in Pendragon, he had access to files and information far removed from what he had known as a child.]
It turns out that Geass isn't the only thing my Father was investigating, although from what I've gathered, it appears as if his information was incomplete. But I've managed to uncover a name of an antiquity expert from the EU, from what as once a country called Egypt.
no subject
That's... that's where my father went... [Before he died, just like her mother and younger sister. It breaks her heart somewhat, thinking of them again. There's a subtle drop in mood, but not enough for her to stop talking.] Yes, that's where he went and he got the Ring.
...What other information was missing? Was it.. about the other items?
no subject
no subject
...My father told me a little bit about the other items. Before he left, he translated some of the hieroglyphs on the wall of the chamber where the Ring was. He said that... yes, there were seven of them. A pharaoh had them commissioned to be made before an upcoming battle. The Puzzle belonged to the Pharaoh and his immediate family, the rest belonging to his priests. The Puzzle, The Ring, the Rod, The Ankh, The Eye, the Scales, and the Key. There wasn't much information on what each could do, though...
Why do you ask?
no subject
That would be something worth investigating, don't you think?
no subject
no subject
[He tilts his head slightly to the side, studying her.]
Would you be interested in seeing the United States of Japan?
no subject
[However, if they were still alive, they probably wouldn't be very accepting of her, since she was mostly Britannian and had been taken away from Japan for safe-keeping, despite her loyalites being with the Resistance that had helped free the Japanese.]
[Not to mention her other travelling buddy that would more likely than not be coming along, whether she wanted him to or not.]
I... I would like to... but why would I go? And, what about you? You just said that you can't leave with Britannia still so unstable... [Surely you're not suggesting a girl like her to go alone, are you?]
no subject
[There's a brief pause. He doesn't wish to reveal to the other quite yet it's because he has a feeling that at least one of the other items is still here, somewhere in Japan.]
Japan was as much my home as it was your's and Suzaku's, I would imagine.
no subject
...When do I leave then?
