[ Archangels. Archangels, and long lost brothers.

[Not where Raphael meant to be either but he was content to wait, see who else might appear.

He wants Michael. Their long-lost Father...he doesn't even hope.

He tilts the glass in his hand, a ray off the rim bending and striking Anna's hair.

[ Honestly? Anna kind of sucks at hide and seek, so she's not even going to try. Not to mention its a bit hard when you're playing with Archangels.

That doesn't mean she's not wary though, especially when she turns to lock eyes with Raphael, and after a moment she gives a small nod of acknowledgement.

Wasn't aware a family reunion had been scheduled.

After all, if anything happens, she can just run, right? ]

[Archangels cheat.

He waits, giving her time to decide whether she is going to acknowledge his presence or attempt to flee. When she nods, he shifts just a little, sitting back instead of so rigidly upright.

No one consulted me.

[ She's still keeping her distance, which is hardly all that surprising, given that she's now sharing a room with a brother who she doubts has warm fuzzy feelings about her.

Still, perhaps he won't want to make a scene? No one likes ugly family history being dragged up at a party now, do they.

Shame, we could have gotten the whole gang back together.

She turns to get a drink of her own, the whole time very mindful of Raphael's presence in the room. ]

[Raphael won't insist she come close. Really, there is no reason to.

And Anna is correct about him not wanting a sense, though wrong on the reason. It would do nothing but point to how out of control of this he is - and with war looming, he cannot afford that.

That is nothing to joke about.

He lets her walk away, though his presence don't withdraw from the line over angel radio.]

[ No, it really isn't, but the only reason Anna doesn't actually make that comment is because of general self-preservation. It'll do no good to piss off the big guns, after all.

She can still feel his focus on her, like eyes boring holes into the back of her head, and it almost makes her shiver. She doesn't though, just gets her drink and clutches the glass tightly as she turns back to survey the room once more. There's a bit of distance between her and anyone who could waste her at the moment. That's a good thing.

So how are things, Raphael?

Small talk with an Archangel. That's an interesting method of defense, that one. ]

[As far as Raphael knows, Gabriel is dead, and the two Eldest are in the Cage. For him, it really isn't. He does, in fact, love all of his siblings but the relationship between the archangels, while more volatile, is also much deeper.

And now, he's the only one left, intact.

They could be better. Do I need to poke at you to find out when you are from?

Very interesting. But one hadn't been able to fault Anna for her bravery, if nothing else.]

[ Now that's a relationship that Anna definitely isn't willing to prod, at all. She can't begin to understand the bond that they share, and part of her doesn't really want to either. That's a complicated as hell family, right there.

No poking necessary, if it pleases.

Really. She's rather aversed to the idea of being poked by any of her siblings right now, thank you very much.

How specific are you looking for? Would the year suffice? Month? Day? Minute?

[Not prodding at it is smart, as Raphael doesn't even understand it.

The last five minutes would suffice.

He's actually behaving, go figure. He has bigger problems than Anna.]

[ And thank Dad for those bigger problems. Believe it or not, despite her ongoing presence in what is becoming a rather dangerous atmosphere at least, as far as she is concerned Anna actually doesn't have a death wish, which is why she intends to remain on her best behaviour.

I believe I was being fried from the inside by dearest big brother.

[He likely wouldn't be so tolerant to Castiel or the Winchester boys. Anna is just further down the list.

Then should Michael appear I would suggest melding with the nearest wall in hopes of being beneath his notice. I would also suggest avoiding Uriel, should he appear.

Anna knew what the Winchester boys where. The last of Azazel's grown prepared Vessels for Lucifer and matched with one of Michael's vessels. She shouldn't have tried to interfere with what the archangels decreed. He wouldn't protect her. But he wasn't going to harm her, at least not unless she stepped out of line.]

[ Anna will gladly creep as far down that list as possible. In all fairness, she should have known better, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Not that that's all that helpful now.

I think I can handle Uriel. Safe to say I'll make myself scarce if Michael joins us, though.

It's not like she'd deliberately tried to derail Heaven's plans, honestly. She'd just been trying to save the world, save the humans that she cared so deeply about. Not that it really matters anymore. ]
