The Tag Someone New Meme
How It Works |
Sometimes, memes can be awkward. There's always that feeling that, if you don't know the person behind the curtain, you'll be intruding somehow. Don't worry. We've all been there. Still, it's nice to have that little reassurance that hey, it's cool. We're all in this together and we just want to play. That's where this meme comes in! The point here is to play with someone you've never played with before, OR play with a character/canon you're unfamiliar with. The prompts provided include mundane activities, chance meetings, platonic fluff, romance/smut, fighting, and crack. This is pretty much the granddaddy of meme variety, so there should be something for just about everyone. INSTRUCTIONS - Comment with you character(s). In the subject field, put all the info that's relevant + any preferences. - Reply to others. Remember, the goal is to play with new people! - The initial set of prompts is in this post. The subsequent sets are linked GoogleDocs. - Use the RNG to get your prompts. - Have fun! |

... now with the right journal
Eryn knows that this was the wrong place to come out of the Umbra - in the middle of a park near city center. But bleeding and concussed from a long battle, she wasn't sure she'd have the strength later. She lies in her enormous wolf-form within a rock formation, as hidden as she has managed to be, trying to get her bearings enough to Change back.]
;) Oh gosh it's been a while since I played White Wolf stuff...
A wolf is not what he expected, and when he climbs the rocks and sees the furry form curled up in the shelter there, he's a little surprised.
Thought you might know the canon XD
She puts her head on her paws and tries to look as though she is simply resting. Her wounds aren't obvious; perhaps a human, who cannot smell blood as sharply as a wolf, would be fooled.
A little bit, it's been over a decade...
Still better than nothing.
What he says registers dimly. She doesn't make the connection. If he were Garou or Kin he'd have known what she was at once; since he doesn't, she takes the safe route and gives a faint but definite warning growl. Very few people stand their ground after a warning growl from a beast of her size, dog or wolf.
I played it in a LARP setting.
Wow, never got to do that... all tabletop here.
She drags herself to her feet and tries to lunge, but stumbles over her own paws and crashes, whining in pain and helpless anger. There is an almost bone-deep laceration on the inside of her back right leg, running up to her stomach, and with most of her adrenaline gone she can't put any weight on it, much less brace to leap. It's painful, humiliating, infuriating. She has to Change. If she can reach Crinos form, the Delirium will do the rest -
Her flesh begins to ripple. It's slow going, but she pushes herself hard.
It was... weird, but that was the other players.
He looks a little surprised as she begins to shift, but still not shocked. Whoever he is, he's pretty hard to faze.

Wary curiosity overcomes her rage; she shifts past the Crinos form until settling in human form, an enormously tall and well-muscled woman with a long frayed auburn braid, pale and clammy from pain and blood loss, though not as dizzy now that the Change has smoothed out some of her wounds. Crouching, tense, she stares at him, as though daring him to respond to her clearly unnatural nature.
"Kin?" The question is quiet, but pointed.

"No," she says softly. "No stitching. Will heal. I need water. Drink, clean." She hesitates, still pinning him with a thoughtful amber gaze. "Not Fae. And you... not human."
no subject
"Nnnn-no." He answers slowly, retreating a step once she has the bottle. "I'm an immortal." He puts up a hand quickly, palm out. "Not a vampire, mind ye, just... an immortal."
