 THE SNOW DAY MEME



Looks like the weather forecast was fight; it's absolutely freezing! Not only that, but your town/city/jamjar/wherever is knee-deep in snow. Schools are shut, roads are backed up for miles and the general quiet chaos of a snow day has taken over.

But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!


1. OMG SNOW!!!
Snow is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time with snowball fights, snowmen, snow forts and every other conceivable kind of snow-related activity with your friends... even if they don't really want to join in.

2. FUCK YOU, SNOW.
Oh god, it's snowing. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still blocked up, or because the school closed, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this snow and you don't care what anyone else thinks.

3. SNOW SIEGE
Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. With the amount of snow at your door, you can't open it! Will you make a daring escape out the window or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!

4. BUSINESS BEFORE PLEASURE
With all this snow around, people's drives and lawns are completely blocked up. Why not take the opportunity to make a quick buck and clean their front gardens for them? If you team up with your friends, you can become a snow-clearing machine and make massive profits!

5. A WALK IN THE SNOW
Nothing like the sound of freshly fallen snow crunching away under your shoes, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the snow and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

[Even if it was a lot of snow out and not even Houx and Saule wanted to go out this cold day Chocola had decided to play in the snow, with or without her friends. Some warm clothes and she was out on the almost empty streets. Well she should find someone to have fun with if she searched long enough.]

[Thump.

He was getting pelted with snowballs, if Tooth had anything to say about it. She was an expert at dodging things, so there was no way she could ever get hit! Right?]

Who-- [He spins on the spot, but then grins. Now you're in for it. Tooth might be quick on her feet, but he's in his element, and he's soon got a snow ball in each hand and he's hurling them after her.] I'm going to get you!

Not if you can't catch me!

[She hides behind a tree for avoiding the first one, but of course the second one hits her, causing her to shiver before hurling some snow at him.

Maybe I'll just catch you then! [Jack turns his face from the snow ball, before running through the snow after her. He ducks briefly to gather up some more as he chases her out of her hiding spot.]

You can't catch a fairy!

[Flying up high in the air to avoid him, dipping down to grab some snow, hurling it at him to try and slow him down.]

You're not the only one who can fly you know!

[And with that he calls the wind to catch him up, arms full of snowballs that he can hurl after her retreating form, laughing as he chases her.]

[And she gets pelted with one snowball after another as she runs, and she turns around, putting her hands in front of her face.]

Okay, okay! You win!

[Jack laughs at that, and tackles her in midair, dragging her down into a snow drift. He cant shove a snow ball down her shirt, so this will have to do.] Did you really expect anything different? [But as he gets off her he offers a hand to help her up. He doesn't want those fragile wings to get too cold.]

[She screams, laughing as she falls to the ground, making a tiny snow-fairy imprint on the ground. She takes the hand, shaking her wings to get all the snow off.]

You could have let me win, you know. I only get to do this stuff every once in a few years!

[snowguardian]

Hey, well, I tell you what. I'll let you win next time, okay? [But he's chuckling, not quite promising.]

You really think I believe that? [One last snowball in his direction.]

[snowguardian]

[He only laughs harder, ducking but not very well.] No, but it wouldn't be fun if you knew the outcome!

I guess I gotta get better, then! [Laughing, too.]

[snowguardian]

Practice makes perfect! [And as if by magic he's gathered up another snowball and is tossing it up and down in his hand threateningly.]

[Giving him a "are you serious?" look.]


Oh, no you don't.

[Grinning even wider.] What, are you telling me your feathers aren't waterproof? What happens when it rains?

Why would a fairy need to be waterproof? It just never hits me because it never rains in Tooth Palace!

[snowguardian]

Oh, so that's why you stopped going out, eh?

[toothmemories]

There's more reasons that that!

[A pause.]

But that was one of them.

[snowguardian]

Right, well, I know what I'm getting you next christmas. Then you'll have no excuse! [And about now seems like a good time to finally throw that snowball that he's been playing with at her.]

[And it hits her square in the face, her nose getting rosy from being out in the cold.]

And I'm gonna get you some mittens, then!

[snowguardian]

[He snorts, forgetting to jump out of the way.] Don't think they'd do much good for me, but thanks for the thought.

[She'll take that momentary distraction to tackle him to the ground, shoving some snow in his face.]

I don't know how you manage that, but I guess it's all for the good of the children.
