I texted over twenty minutes ago. [Sherlock looks bored and annoyed, a dangerous combination. He's consulting on an unusual case involving a suspected feather allergy and the unfortunate events that led to the death of a wealthy woman at a large hotel chain.

He moves back allowing her access to the hotel room. A recreation of the suite that the woman died in. The actual one is one floor up. He's lured Sergeant Donovan here under the pretenses that there has been another similar murder. That is a lie.

It would only be another murder if Donovan shares in with the feather allergy, which Sherlock suspects she does not.] This way.

[He walks briskly to the back of the suite. And pauses just outside the door.] Step back.

[His movements are swift as he swings open the door, grabs the waiting pillow off the chair just inside and swings it full force towards Sally.]

[She's only here because Lestrade expressly ordered her to cooperate with him. This case was just about the most frustrating pain in the-]

What the bloody hell!

[The hit with the pillow sends her a step back and she's tempted to pull her gun. Though she suspects that Lestrade wouldn't consider this the appropriate self defense measure. Instead she drops her hand to the couch in the suite and picks up one of the decorative pillows instead.]

[Sherlock makes a self satisfied noise as he studies the pattern of feathers work it's way out of the slashed pillow. It's only as a secondary observation that he sees the look on Sally's face and his mouth breaks out into a grin.] Just as I suspected.

[It's about as much explanation as she's going to get.] Thank you Donovan. You can go now.

[His eyes narrow when she picks up another pillow.] Don't be stupid.

You texted me in the middle of the night and had me run all the way out here. [Raging Sally gets eerily calm.]

You told me there was a murder victim, and I'm not leaving this room until there is one. [It's dramatic overstatement, but it gets the point across.

About as well as pillow she's gripping tightly, smacking at his head.]

[He really should've seen this coming, but he had actually thought Donovan to be much more violent or prone to aggravation than likely to pick up a pillow. Still the hit to his head is not a gentle one and he is scowling as he stumbles back.] You're going to kill me by pillow?

[Nevermind that is exactly what he's here to determine is possible. He swings back at her.] You're ruining my crime scene.

If I have to.

[Sally dodges that, but barely. She doesn't want to knock anything over, but driving a pillow into Sherlock's face is really the more important goal at the moment. Still, she has to pick her swings carefully. Trying to knock his pillow from his hands first.]

And let's get one thing straight. This is not your anything. I'm the authority here, this is my crime scene.

[He manages to keep a hold of his pillow, despite her attempts to knock it free and he smiles coolly as he steps back.] The only authority you have is the delusional kind, Donovan.

[He takes a vicious swing, his smile growing a little wider.] Oh, this is fun.
