stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

[It had basically been decided that he would stay the night at Yuugi's place because his place was a little far to be walking in the snow, plus it looked like a blizzard was going to hit soon. That and his landlord had called to tell him to stay wherever he was, because the roads were already blocked off near the apartment complex, so he couldn't go home just yet, even if he wanted too.]

Thanks for letting me stay on such short notice, Yuugi-kun.

[Being cold, hungry teenagers and all, the two were sitting in the kitchen. Yugi decided to grab a few games from the game shop shelves while Ryou, being the convenienet foodie friend and all, made them a snack, before they chatted a bit more.] No problem, Bakura. I couldn't let you go outside in this storm.

Now... How about one of these? [With a perky grin, he set the boxes on the table.]

[Since it was getting colder and much more blizzard-y outside, he decided to make warm food, to keep them from freezing to death. He decided to make bagel pizzas ~~with mushrooms~~ for the two of them ~~Who knows where Grandpa is in all of this.~~ And using the oven also gave heat to the house while making it smell like pizza.]

Hmmm.... how about that one? [He points to a random one since he's busy with food at the moment. But he will play any game you throw at him, Yuugi.]

As tempting as it was for Yugi's mun to shove him right out of this thread ~~because mushrooms~~, that's not how roleplay works. Instead of dealing with that, Yugi enjoyed in the awesome pizza smell. Hooray for junk food and board games! Unfortunately for Yugi's grandpa ~~and Yugi's mom~~, they were, idk, chilling with Yugi's dad or something, who cares, it's unsupervised party time.]

Wow, I wasn't expecting you to make something like that when I asked you to make a snack. [Not a complaint, of course, never.] Is it done yet?

[It's always unsupervised party time with these guys. Don't you know that adults basically don't exist in this world?]

Well, it is getting colder outside, so I figured that using the oven would make it a little bit warmer in here. [That and pizza is awesome and not that hard to make.]

Almost done. Just need a few more minutes and then letting them cool after taking them out. It shouldn't be too long

I guess you're right about that. [He was just about done setting up, with just a few more pieces to place around the board.] Should we start now or do you wanna wait until after they're done? I could make us some hot chocolate while we're waiting if you want.

Sure, go on ahead. [He was pulling out the bagel pizzas out of the oven, setting them aside to let them cool for a few minutes. He also took a moment to look at the game they were playing.]

Do you want to go first in the game or should I?

He'd hope so, they've all played this game dozens of times! Then again, Yugi and his friends played five billion other games too.]
