Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.
Quietly slides in here ~
So when he spots Gabriel sitting in one of the lounge rooms, reading some leather bound book that he can't quite make out the title for, he nearly sighs in relief. He walks up quietly and with the near grace of a cat, slips onto his lap to curl up against the other man's chest. Gabriel is warm, so comfortably warm that he wonders if all Lycans run hot like this. If that was the case, then he'd accept a bite any full moon.
"How can you stand the cold? Tell me your secrets." He says as a noticeable tremble racks through him as he tries to sap Gabriel's warmth.

He's pretty lost in what he's reading until he becomes aware of Derek outside the room, closely followed by Derek in the room. And then Derek climbing onto his lap and breaking his attention away almost completely from the page. It's not expected at all, but he doesn't protest much asides from a small, surprised sound. The only positive physical contact he gets is from Christian, and so while he doesn't mind it in the least, it still catches him unaware.
Putting his book aside for a second, he shifts a little to accommodate how Derek's sitting on him. Considering the question with a slightly raised brow, he leans forward long enough to awkwardly pull off his jumper. He was still wearing a T-shirt underneath; the loss of the additional layer wouldn't be mourned all that much.
"Here, you can borrow this. And it's a Lycan thing, I think - we're nature's mobile heaters."

He slips into the still body warm jumper, it fits a little loose on him due to their size difference but helps ease his shivering as he blows into his hands. "I wish I was as lucky that the cold wasn't such a bother." The freezing weather was fine as long as there was heat nearby, otherwise, you'd find him under a mountain of blankets near a fire, not wanting anything to do with said cold.
Derek curls back up against Gabriel's chest to help with the loss of his jumper, resting his head against his shoulder, so tempted to bury his face into the taller man's neck. "Sorry I interrupted you from your reading, I didn't feel comfortable bothering anyone else." He lifted his head as he remembered his curiosity about the book. "What were you reading?"
He'd been employed by the family for months now but he still felt as if everyone thought him untrustworthy. Most families still do besides a handful of members that slowly decided otherwise. Making Gabriel the only one he felt comfortable being like this with around here.

And even if it is only to supply Derek with a source of warmth, he'll enjoy it while he can. The fact that Derek always smells good is just a bonus.
When asked about his book, Gabriel folds the front cover over for him to see; 'The Hobbit' - it's an old edition and quite clearly second hand, it's pages soft and it's spine and front cover creased and folded.
"Victoria and Elena were watching it the other day and I realised that I've had a copy for a while but hadn't read it yet, so here we are."

Derek fiddles with the sleeves of the jumper, they were a little long so they stopped around the middle of his palm. He really should roll them up but instead motions towards the book as if for Gabriel to pass it over.
"It's a good book. There was an elderly couple that taught me piano growing up in the clinic that used to read it to me when I couldn't sleep." He stares at the book for a moment with a soft fondness, he misses that couple dearly even though he hasn't touched his copy in years. It just wasn't the same reading it without them.
"They were quite the fans of his books if I remember right, could talk to you for hours about them if given the chance." Derek grinned, remembering how they tried to teach him elvish but he just couldn't get it. He perks his head back up, "Did the girls enjoy the movie?" He personally hasn't seen it yet but it is on his 'to watch' list for sure.

The very good looking guy sat in his lap who he's rather fond of--
Okay no, focus. Conversation, book- right. "Apparently I had it read to me as a child, but I don't remember it." As he hands Derek the book, Gabriel smiles at his recollection. "They sound like they were lovely people.."
The question of whether or not the Crane's youngest daughters enjoyed something involving fantasy and Dwarves and dragons - in mention or otherwise - is one easily answered.
"Oh, I think so. Victoria loves things like that, so I don't doubt the others will be dragged in to watch it with her again once the power's back on. I'd invite you to join in, but I don't think I'll be invited, and somehow I can't imagine you wanting to sit alone with the four of them for that long. God only knows what'd happen to you."
