(Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Good news. Finally all recovered from that little accident in the garage.

No, and they said it was lucky and I should never try tying Materia to something that doesn't have a slot. So...lesson learned there, I guess.

... right. Sorry. I didn't... I was sure it'd work, since you can hold materia and use them, but holding them isn't practical in battle. And none of the books warn you have to use slots when you use them in equipment.

But I should have guessed...

That's all right. At least they fixed the garage too.

So the moral of the story is: keep your materia in their slots at all times. I guess I should find a katana with open slots so I can practice magic.

Basically. At least, finding a katana with slots isn't going to be too hard... most weapons around here usually have one, even the cheap ones.
