For the record? There is nothing wiggling in Mick's pocket. Nothing.
Okay. Maybe there is. The puppy, a grey pibble with floppy ears and a determined face escapes from Mick's coat and makes a beeline towards Barry's shoes. Clearly those shoelaces are Doomed.
"Told you," Leonard says from somewhere behind Mick, leaned against the nearest upright surface as he is so often wont to do, referring to an earlier conversation about everyone making the leap that Mick stole her.
Mick snorts at the question. Clearly Ember was what Barry needs, so he doesn't call her back just yet. An eyebrow to his partner. "And I told you she'd share your obsession. Looks like I was right too."
Barry cuddles the puppy happily and she licks his face, and then he's laughing again. But he doesn't miss that line about Leonard's obsession. "What obsession?" he asks, in a curious and utterly oblivious sort of way.
He shifts in his seat so Ember can curl up in his lap as he strokes her.
"Your dog has good taste," There's a smirk that only seems to widen at Barry's oh-so-oblivious question. How one man can be this clueless and still live to tell the tale, he's not sure. The speedster is the walking definition of oblivious.
"Course she does," he defends to his partner. Ember is delighted with the attention, wriggling in Barry's lap, torn between chewing on his fingers or just rolling over for belly scratches.
Barry's question however, brings him up short and Mick tips his head at Barry. "Wait. You mean all this time, all these elaborately set up heists just to get your attention and you don't know?"
"Wait...just to get my attention? I sort of figured that was like an extra bonus, because otherwise you'd get bored." He has a hard time wrapping his mind around that, because Leonard is just so...well. Leonard. Even as reformed as he is.
He's distracted enough by that question that he just lets Ember do as she pleases.
Leonard's eyes cut across to his partner and narrow into a glare. While, really, it should be kind of obvious, it clearly wasn't to Barry and hey, did he have to go pointing it out like that, really? He would have been just as content not letting the younger man in on that particular loop.
"What if not being bored was the bonus instead?" He looks over at Barry again. The question isn't really admitting anything, per se, but seeing as there's no pushing himself out of the corner Mick's painted him into now, he may as well dive in head first, right?
Mick just snickers at his partner's glare because even if Barry didn't see it, Mick had known about it from the very beginning. Ember is happy to sit in Barry's lap and snuffle at his shirt, lick his chin and chew on his fingers.
Finally. At least he's all but pushed Snart into saying something.

"Well aren't you cute? You didn't steal her, did you?" he asks, giving Mick a pointed look.
