ANGST MEME
Sometimes we all want to play some angst and see just how far our characters can and will fall.

- Play!
1. just depressed.
Things are tough, you're feeling worn out, or whatever the case, you're depressed. You need help or someone else thinks you do anyway.
2. abandoned.
You were left behind by everyone you hold dear and now you're forced to see how well they've adjusted, how happy they all are while you're screaming inside.
3. sick.
Cold, flu, or something even worse, all you can do is lay back and let someone take care of you.
4. fight.
You've been fighting nonstop with the other person and it just keep escalating.
5. break up.
You're being broken up with and they won't reconsider... Damn.
6. separated.
For some reason, you've been separated from the other person for a long time.
7. kidnapped.
You've been held captive for how long now? Maybe they've been torturing you even, using your blood to write ransom notes, threatening to cut off fingers to send next, etc. Rescue is on the way though, right?
8. beaten up.
Just because someone didn't like you or maybe they wanted something you had, whatever the case is, you're coming home sporting some nasty wounds and bruises.
9. jealousy.
You just have this undeniable jealousy suddenly and you need to let it out.
10. cheated on.
This goes beyond just suspicion and you have full on proof of what your lover has done. How do you handle it?
11. apathetic.
You're not sad, you're not happy, you just... don't feel much anymore. The sparkle of life has gone right out of you and you're just going through the motions now.
12. addicted.
Drugs, alcohol, whatever your drug of choice is, you can't fight the draw and you can't draw yourself out of the hole, but the other person is going to try.
13. bad romance.
You know this isn't good for either of you, but you can't stop now.
14. fear.
Nightmares, the feeling someone is following you, etc. You can't shake the feeling.
15. insanity.
You're seeing things and hearing them, waking up only to realize you've done things you don't remember or you're in a place you weren't before. You're losing it and you don't know what to do.
16. guilt.
It's eating you up inside and you have to tell someone about it now. You want to be punished and you won't take no for an answer.
17. loss
You've lost something dear to you.
18. wild card.
Combine some options or make your own!

18 - I doubt I can find an option for what I'm about to do to your Eliot.
He knew just the place to hook them too, full of the rich perverted class that wouldn't care so much about his age as his boyish good looks and blue eyed smile.
Or maybe he could actually have some fun tonight by hooking a rich youngster like him —the age part, not the financial status— and go a few rounds.
Standing partially in the shadows, he waited until a prospective shaggy haired teen came by before he sidled up to keep pace beside him. "Hey, sugar, ever got your cock sucked before?"

As he calmed down, he got a good look at the other kid. He frowned. The kid was too old to be a half brother. He'd remember having a little brother. Unless Mama had been pregnant before him and left that kid behind, too. "Why do you look like me? Who are you?"
no subject
But the other's remark had Lindsey blinking and looking at the other boy for the first time and... the kid was right, Lindsey could see the resemblance. "I'm anyone you want me to be," he drawled back smoothly, mind flipping through possibilities and wondering what this was.
His wide smile was bright and innocent, an image off set when he licked his lips lasciviously. "I'm not being funny."

"Oh, come on. It'll be fun." He grinned again, looking once more innocent and boyish with his large blue eyes. Raising a hand, he brushed his hair back, his silver bracelet winking in the evening light.
no subject
"How many times do I have to say I'm no--" He trailed off as the flash of silver caught his eye. Except it wasn't the bracelet that caught his attention so much as the bit of color dangling from it. Eliot reached for the picture and froze when he saw the face smiling in it. "Where'd you get this?" he demanded, nearly yanking it off the kid's wrist.
no subject
Still, he wasn't sure he liked the other's reaction to it at all. "Fine, you're not interested. Let go. It's none of your business."
no subject
no subject
Still, shock hit him at the same time as the meaning sank in. "Fuck me..." He has a brother? ... a twin?

He tried to pull his hand out of the other man's grasp. Damn, but the kid —his brother? it still boggled the mind— had a vice grip on his bracelet. "Let go first, you twit."
no subject
He couldn't believe his ears. "Let go? So you can run off? No, you tell me first."
no subject
He pulled lightly on his arm and raised an eyebrow at the other kid who wore his face, or Lindsey wore his. He suppose it didn't really matter. He was still getting over his shock.

The other boy, with his nice clothes and clean skin, was everything Lindsey should have had. It didn't matter that their mother had left his brother too, at least his brother had a mother to be with.
Irrational with hurt and hate, Lindsey suddenly shoved at Eliot with both hands then turned to run the other way.

It was outside the doors of a certain prestigious hotel that Lindsey appeared next to an elder man who kept looking, leering, at the young boy. They checked into the hotel as father and son.
no subject
He smiled and followed them, figuring he could wait outside his brother's room if he had to. If he was coming here, maybe he'd been looking for his twin in the wrong place. Maybe he'd just been slumming like the kids he occasionally saw while he lived with Moreau.
no subject
No one thought twice when they were requested to take a room at the far end, away from people and unlikely to be bothered. It was positioned such that cries and muffled screams could be disregarded because no one occupied the adjacent rooms.
Which was soon what started permeating through the door. First the sound of running water from a shower, then half an hour later, muffled cries and the sound of flesh hitting flesh.
no subject
He bit his lips, hesitating for a moment. He couldn't just let his brother get hurt and maybe killed. But... He couldnt look out for him, either. That would just get his twin killed. He clenched his fists as a particularly loud scream came through the door. He stood and kicked down the door. He ran over and pulled the man off of his brother, pinning him with one arm while throwing punch after punch at the man's face.
no subject
That was not what he was expecting.
"Get off him!" Lindsey called, struggling to his feet so he could attempt to pull the rabid man off his client. His hands froze on the strong forearms when he realized who it was.
"You! What the hell are you doing here?" Then realizing that the man he was with was still a crumpled heap beneath the other boy, Lindsey tried to tug at the arm again. "Get away from my client!"
no subject
And that was when he realized that both his brother and that... monster were naked. He turned away from his brother to the man below him. "You sick fuck!" he snarled, delivering a punch intended crush the man's throat.
no subject
"You killed him!?" He hissed, then louder, "Fuck!"
Reacting quickly, he turned around to check the room. Physical evidence was everywhere... hell, he was dripping blood between his legs. "What the fuck's wrong with you? You just come in, kill my client, and... were you following me?" They needed to move the body, clean this place up. Lindsey wasn't freaking out that a man died, he was worried about getting caught.

You ever heard the song Rattle Snake Smile?
XD Great description.
The lyrics give an even better description...
I always thought they fit Lindsey more than Eliot
More Lindsey than Eliot, yes. But they fit Eliot, too... Especially when he's pissed.
Like now. Oh man, he's possed. :D
That's putting it mildly...
Holland deserves it.
He deserves worse...
... Oh dear. Eli, what are you doing?
Is it that hard to guess? Really?
I don't know if anyone will actually do that.
He'll probably be stuck there for a good, long while, then...
Nah, people will come to his rescue. Hey, did Bonano save Eliot?
Maybe, but if no one checks out the sign, it might be a while...
I'm sure he'll start making lots of noise when he comes to.
Since this Eliot is no expert in gags...
Should've asked Lindsey to do it
Hey, Linds, you asked! Of course, he's gonna tell you!
Yeah, he was being sarcastic. Or morose. Or both.
Knowing Linds? Probably both.
That's what I thought too.
Oh, here they go again...
Nah, Eliot's saying all the right things.
So we're not back to a pair of angst puppies yet...
Damnit, I replied to this like thiree times and it still didn't post? Ugh.

S2 hair cut?
Probably, gives him a more boyish look.

Lindsey's staying with him? Poor Eliot...
And poor Lindsey. I have a feeling Parker tends to give Eliot some rather lively wake-up calls...
... I can't decide if he'll be annoyed or angry. Probably both. I thought you went to bed. XD
No, just home. And this Linds makes me want to cry.
Doesn't he just? It's heartbreaking watching him struggle to understand normality.
*sobs and cuddles Lindsey* He and Annie from Copper are two of a kind
Yeah...And what's sad... Lindsey won't be very appreciative that Eliot dragged him away. Not yet.
As long as he understands someday, Eli will be content.
Someday, but not today. He will eventually realize that Eli saved his life.
Then Eli's content. And Linds needs a doctor...
He does. :\ And the adults are scaring him into agreeing.
They're pretty worried about him themselves. And time skip.
I imagine they would be. At least Parker's young and still impressionable. Lindsey's past that age.
Yes, but Lindsey probably had more human contact during those key 1st 4 years.
Not the good sort of impression. I'm also surprised he's not a drug addict.
No, but those parts of his brain would have had better stimulation and be more functional. Me, too.
Oh, he can read people like a pro, little grifter that he is. And there's probably Holland to thank.
Yes, but there would've been no pro-grifter if his brain had culled the empathy section.
Not the lying and selfish section. And he has... stunted empathy, but he does have some of it.
Reading people takes empathy.
Not reading intentions. He knows how to manipulate people.
Still uses the empathic area of the brain. Which is either developed somehow or culled by age 4.
Stunted, so not fully developed?
Yeah... And Lindsey won't be able to manipulate them.
Nope! Why he's scared.
Good thing he can't, though. He'd have everything all bolluxed up.
I know, right? And probably destroy everything as a result.
Yep. And now Eli's really gonna have a nightmare. Great job, Linds.
They're such a pair of angst puppies. :(
That they are... :'(
Eliot needs to stop making assumptions. At least Linds isn't going to seduce anyone tonight.
A little hard not to with no other information. And good thing. He's had a hard enough night.
Why he should stop. And they both have... I feel so sorry for Eli. Cut to morning or new thread?
Neither. Cut to nightmare... And I feel so sorry for Linds.
Linds is afraid, yes, but his words were cutting for Eli.
Not like he knew how Eli would interpret them.
Some of them didn't have much other interpretation...
Some of them. Not the one that really tore him apart.

I love that Lindsey icon...
He has such vulnerable looks. :D
Don't they both, though?
They do... except I really shouldn't need vulnerable icons for boywhore.
Yes, you should. Because Lindsey would totally use looking vulnerable to play for sympathy.
That is so true, he would.
