Ragdoll was, admittedly, fairly unclear on the concept of just because you can, doesn't mean you should. But even he knew that some things simply weren't done, and one of those things was simply sneaking past the guards through the vents into the hideout of a compatriot. It sent entirely the wrong message if you weren't actually trying to kill one another. Which, in fairness, was far from unheard of amongst Ragdoll's compatriots.

Of course, Ragdoll's decision making processes being what they were, it also helped considerably that it was a bit harder to twist his way through the vents with takeout. Not without spilling it and having the entire place smell like Chinese food.

He didn't seem at all perturbed to be escorted in by the guards, waving with one hand enthusiastically while the other juggled two takeout boxes. "Hello, mawkin! I brought chow mein and spring rolls!"

Scarecrow had been writing up some formulas on a chalkboard when a henchman radioed him to say he had a visitor. Crane guessed it was either Edward asking to team up again, or Ragdoll. He was quite pleased that it turned out to be the latter.

"How thoughtful of you," Scarecrow waved the guards away, so they could resume patrol. "You can set it down there." He pointed to an empty table. The only table that didn't have books or a chemistry set on it.

Honestly Ragdoll was a little surprised there was a table without books or a chemistry set on it, but he went to set the bags down on it. Contemplated sitting on it himself, as well, to chat, but he'd spotted Scarecrow's work and was in a friendly mood, anyway.

He loped over to the chalkboard, stopping a bit behind Scarecrow and cocking his head, looking up from that odd crouch he had. "What is my favorite fearmonger working on?"

"I'm trying to increase the potency of my toxin," Scarecrow replied. "It involves working with those." Without looking away from the board, he pointed to a tank full of crawling beetles.

He sniffed the air, the food's aroma filling his nostrils. Crane was one of those people who often got so absorbed in his work that he forgot to eat. It even went back to his college days, when he was still a student. "I suppose I can take a small break for now."
