The Tag Someone New Meme
How It Works |
Sometimes, memes can be awkward. There's always that feeling that, if you don't know the person behind the curtain, you'll be intruding somehow. Don't worry. We've all been there. Still, it's nice to have that little reassurance that hey, it's cool. We're all in this together and we just want to play. That's where this meme comes in! The point here is to play with someone you've never played with before, OR play with a character/canon you're unfamiliar with. The prompts provided include mundane activities, chance meetings, platonic fluff, romance/smut, fighting, and crack. This is pretty much the granddaddy of meme variety, so there should be something for just about everyone. INSTRUCTIONS - Comment with you character(s). In the subject field, put all the info that's relevant + any preferences. - Reply to others. Remember, the goal is to play with new people! - The initial set of prompts is in this post. The subsequent sets are linked GoogleDocs. - Use the RNG to get your prompts. - Have fun! |

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS IT:
10.
so yes, following caffrey around the city is a go. or at least trying to — finch is beginning to think that he should have gotten his taller, more fit partner to do the following. ]

Whatever, Caffrey, just keep going. He continues to walk at a calm pace, as if he doesn't know anything, and then ducks into an alley, waiting. Okay, maybe surprising your tail wasn't the greatest idea, and maybe that could lead to violent situations you didn't want to be in, but Neal was really curious.]
no subject
oh dear. has he lost the ex-conman now? Finch looks around, still walking forward, but more slowly. ]

Why were you following me?
no subject
Call it curiosity, Mr. Caffrey.
[ while he calculates how long it'll take for him to contact Reese. ]
no subject
Meaning this could quickly become one of those really dumb plans you never hear the end of if you're saved from them.]
Curiosity? You've sure got a strange way of satisfying it. Coffee seems like it would be a lot easier.
no subject
Finch just looks at Caffrey to give him a once-over. ]
Personal interaction tends to be more effective towards understanding the situation.
Unless you're suggesting that I invite you for a drink, Mr. Caffrey. [ which really wasn't his first choice. ]
no subject
[this is not how he imagined this day going, but, alright.]
Why don't we start with your name?
no subject
Harold Townshend. [ at the moment. if Caffrey does look it up, all he'll get is the professional profile of a small but established magazine editor. ]

Most things, actually, but I doubt that you're the type inclined to give out answers freely.
[ so... stalking is the next best thing. right? ]
no subject
You haven't tried yet.
no subject
You didn't deny that you wouldn't answer.
