| THE LIST! 01] baby Suddenly, there's a new addition to your family! Are you expecting? Adopting? Struggling to find the perfect name for your child? Or maybe you're up at a ridiculous hour in the morning because they're crying like crazy. 02] just married Congratulations! You and your loved (?) one are about to start a whole new life together! It's time for the honeymoon... 03] house hunting Are you seeking out an apartment? A dream house? Or just any old place, as long as you're with your other? Make sure to weigh your options very carefully... 04] household chores It's time to clean/cook/garden/take care of something! Do you work together, or does one of you hide until everything is done? 05] shopping Whether it's for furniture, groceries, or something in between, shopping is something that everybody must do at some point in time! What varies is if they like it or not. 06] family vacation WE'RE OFF TO DIDNEY WOOOOOOOOORL or wherever ... well, as long as the kids are happy, right...? Or perhaps you want to try medicine, or laughter, or something else? 09] pet Suddenly, you have another addition to the family! Is it a puppy? A kitty? A fierce dragon? Whatever it is, make sure to give it a name and to take good care of it! 10] holiday Happy birthday/New Years/Christmas/Valentine's Day/whatever! It's a very special day that only comes once a year, so make it count! 11] argument Oh, no, who left the stove on... Or maybe it's about why they were out late last night? Either way, there is a lot of tension today, and one of you may or may not be sleeping on the couch tonight. 12] making up It's time to make amends for that fight/divorce/whatever you had before! [It was Santana's birthday and Cassie is as excited as she would be if it was her own birthday. She gives Santana a big hug. The whole apartment was decorated, yes that's what she's been doing while Santana has been asleep. Next she hands her an envelope. Inside is a birthday card and inside that is a letter. If Santana reads the letter she'll find out that Cassie managed to get her recording sessions at her recording studio!]

She chuckles when she pulls away, quickly grabbing her glasses from the cabinet beside the sofa and placed them on her nose- yup. It's definitely her birthday.]

[She opens the envelope, expecting the usual itunes voucher or even the receipt for a bill she is planning on paying soon (promise). Her eyes widen when she realises what it is]

And that's the expression she had been expecting and to be honest the one that she had been hoping for too. Oh and don't worry she'll remind you about that bill but not right now. Because it's your birthday she'll let you off with it for today at least. She laughs a little and shrugs a shoulder.]
Well, you want to be a star and I have contacts in the business. Of course I had to and I wanted to. They're going to absolutely love you. I've already told them how amazing you are.

She finally looks at Cassie, a genuine smile on her face. There's a hint of a blush across her cheeks, but whatever. Of course she's amazing, she's Santana Lopez....but...If she does this, and they like her- well, that could change everything! It feels like her dream is just one step closer.]

[Santana grins and practically skips out of the room. It's her birthday, she can be ridiculous, okay? She goes through the cards first, laughing at the cheesy jokes her cousins write, and rolling her eyes at Rachel's attempt at organising another Glee Club reunion.
She's used to not seeing a card from her Abuela by now, but it still stings.
Santana's laughing at Brittany's letter telling how the tour she's choreographing for is going when Cassie comes back into the room]
My mom got you a 'thanks for putting up with my daughter' present again. [She points to the neatly wrapped box with the 'Cassandra x' giftcard on top]

Cassie knows about Santana's Abuela but she's not going to comment on it, she knows it's a sensitive subject.
A few minutes later she walks into the room with two cups of coffee, setting one down beside Santana. She laughs a little as she sets her eyes on the box]
Oh your mom is just adorable. I keep telling her not to bother with anything like this. [She opens the box and takes out a gorgeous necklace, reading the note with another small laugh] She hopes I wear it at my next red carpet event.

[It is a beautiful necklace, and Santana would be jealous if there wasn't a matching earring and necklace set from Tiffany's with her name on it.
She sips at her coffee, humming in thanks]
Britt says hi. Quinn says hi. Puck says...[well she's not reading that out loud] stuff. [She shrugs, discarding the last of the empty envelopes to the side and flops against the back of the couch with a chuckle]

[She said that quite fondly though and Cassie grins as she spots Santana's own jewelry set.]
And you'll look just as beautiful wearing those to the same red carpet event. Because of course you're coming with me. I always need someone there to help me get through it. The press lines are just brutal.
[She smiles a little at the messages from Santana's friends and has to laugh. She can only imagine what Puck has written.] Stuff, huh? I don't want to know. We'll have to meet up with them again soon, your friends are fun!

Now that I can do. [She always likes those events. Not because she gets noticed and can hang out with the stars (that is awesome though), but because they help her focus on what she's working for. One day she won't going to be going as Cassie's +1. She'll have her own invite.]

Good, I'm going to keep you to that. It'll give you another chance to word the crowds. [And that's why Cassie brings Santana and not one of her other friends to those types of events because she deserves to achieve her dream. Cassie laughs at the response on her friends]
