Set within our PSL maybe? For something light hearted.

[ She'd picked this game up from one of the others, and since then has probably been randomly popping in questions on suspecting and unsuspecting castle residents alike.

Today it's Shiro's turn again, as she finishes up a new flower crown (she's gotten pretty good at them actually) for him made up of flowers from one of their recent planet liberation missions-slash-pit stops. ]

Would you rather... only be able to sing everything you had to say or write everything on paper instead of talk?

[He's going over a star map, trying to orient himself as best as possible. The 3d ones are better but a part of him that started with flat maps absorbs information that way better. And its strangely reassuring to him as well, something to hold in his hands and trace with a finger. All morning was spent on the hologram ones and he's back to the flat maps now, meshing the two together in his head.

He doesn't mind at all when she asks her question and gives him an excuse to take a break.]

No talking ever, huh. [He leans a hip on the table and folds his arms loosely across his chest chin dipping for a moment before he answers:] I think I'd better stick with singing. Writing, or typing, things out would take too long in the middle of a fight.

Your turn. Would you rather have the ability to be invisible whenever you wanted or to fly whenever you wanted?

[ As someone who almost constantly has something going on involving her hands (painting, reading, baking, sculpting, darts, crafting, chess, sketching...) she definitely understands the feeling one got from having something tangible and physical to work with. That doesn't stop her from spending at least an hour every day trying to find new patterns in the stars on the holo-maps, making up her own constellations (and sometimes dragging the others in on the fun, since the more eyes and angles the better and more varied the results), but honestly it's nice for HER too, to see something like paper maps on the ship. It didn't even matter that she's completely unfamiliar with said paper maps, it's much closer to the sort of mapping she's accustomed to.

Not too randomly it occurs to her that she's never heard Shiro- or any of the Paladins actually -sing. It's something she's curious about, as well as wondering if he has any favorite songs from before... everything that's happened. Maybe she'll get a chance to ask him about it. Maybe he'll have songs he can teach her sometime. For now his answer makes her grin. Incredibly practical, but not in a way that took any of the fun out of the game. He seems pretty good at that. Probably has to be, given the age of the bulk of the pilots and residents. He, princess Allura, and Coran were pretty much the adopted parents and the fun uncle on the ship, in Rapunzel's mind.

Well, okay, parent might not necessarily be the right way to describe her thoughts on Shiro. They fluctuate a lot between older brother and father figure, since she'd never actually HAD either and couldn't really imagine what the latter would be like.

... The point is- NEVER MIND. Question time! ]

Ohh...! Not the answer I expected! And, hmm... I'd definitely rather be able to fly. Just think about all the places you could go!

[ Crown's done! She holds it up for him to inspect when he has a moment, then thinks better of it and sets it to the side on the table within reach but out of the way of the maps. ]

Your turn again. Would you rather be able to breathe underwater, or run faster than anything or anyone else?

[Just trust Shiro on this one if he ever needs to tell you. There are certain Paladins you don't want to hear sing. Those are, strangely, the ones you'll most likely hear singing. Weird how it works out like that.

The flower crown brings a smile to his lips and he reaches out with his tech hand to pick it up. She's really getting very good at these and he thinks the variety of flowers she's getting to discover is only helping.

Somehow... he knew she'd pick flying. She's been invisible too long in her life.

And it looks like they're settling in for a serious case of twenty questions. He doesn't mind at all. His brain could use the break.]

That's a tough one. Breathing underwater would be a lot of fun. Think of all the new creatures you could find if you never had to come out of the ocean for air. [Exploring the stars, exploring the sea, Shiro would have been happy doing either even if the open sky always called to him stronger. Still - ] I'd pick the speed though. Give me an advantage in a fight. [There's a shift of his shoulder. He knows. One day maybe he'll leave the gladiator entirely behind but it won't be any time soon.]

No sense of smell or no sense of taste?
