The Bar Fight Meme

THE BAR FIGHT MEME
HOW TO PLAY
1) Post a blank comment with your character, or post with your preferences
2) Reply to others by rolling the RNG between 1-10 to pick a prompt, or just grab one you want.
3) Are you two the ones fighting? Are you teamed up? Or are you just a bystander? Decide!
4) Have fun and don’t cause too much collateral damage.
PROMPTS
1) RAGING DRUNK WHO’S THAT ASSHOLE STARING AT ME? I’M-I’M, GUYS I’M GONNA FIH….I’M GONNA FIGHT HIM. I’M GONNA….GUYS BACK ME UP. GUYS
2) RELUCTANT All you wanted is a quiet drink alone or a nice night with your friends. You really didn’t mean to knock that person’s drink over. Now they wanna go and you just wanna go home.
3) DISRESPECT Someone’s been talking shit about someone, and you’ve got some honor to defend or a score to settle.
4) START SOME SHIT Literally the only reason you’re out tonight is to fuck shit up.
5) YOU ASSHOLE You've hustled someone at pool, or said some rude things pretty loud, or hit on someone too aggressively. Doesn't matter, you’ve been a jerk and now karma’s gonna kick your ass.
6) BLOODBATH You didn’t start the fight. You have no idea who started the fight. But now everyone’s fighting and it’s throw a punch or cower behind the bar time.
7) VENDETTA You’ve got history with this person and now they’re here in the bar with you. It doesn’t matter if they’ve actually done anything to you tonight, you’re still gonna brawl.
8) WILD Go nuts
we have discussed
He's not drinking (even though he would certainly like to be drinking), seeing as he has a mask to wear (which is probably why they're about to get jumped, but he's stubborn), so he takes it upon himself to read the room, instead. He takes note of every hushed whisper, every glance thrown in their direction. They both expect the other shoe to drop, and it does, in the form of some new arrivals that stand in the doorway and scan the bar. They're armed. They're looking for something--or someone. Word gets around.]
Hey.
[He'll nudge her under the table with his boot, nodding towards the group that's just come in.]
Company.

With that said, Ana is in fact sipping from a simple beer – even if just to blend in the surroundings better – but it doesn't matter much, as she actually could hold her alcohol quite well. Sadly, the bottle was going to be left unfinished as she's quick to pick up on the little gesture of his head wave toward the door. Her eyes train on the newcomers, lips forming into the slightest hint of a smile as she knows not to make any sudden movements.]
I'm guessing they're not here for our autographs.
[In the next moment, though, she angles a harsh look in Jack's direction.]
I know that avoiding them is going to be near impossible, but try not to make more of a scene than necessary?

Or maybe he's just stubborn.]
Not likely.
[Unless by 'autographs' she means 'astronomically high bounty'. He figures they're after him, the obvious one, and it'll turn out that Ana is a nice bonus. 76 is already scanning the room, looking for environmental factors they can use to their advantage. They'll have a few moments while their opponents order a drink. He knows that they're scoping out the joint just as they are.]
If we make it out the back door. [No scene.] Can't promise anything beyond that.
no subject
I suppose that's the best I can hope for, from you.
[Shifting her glance over the few at the bar, Ana slowly stands up, stretching her arms as she raises to her feet.]
Oh my, it seems like I need to take a trip to the restroom. Please, excuse me.
[With a wink of a smile, she begins to retreat in the direction of said restrooms, even if she's really just embarking on finding a good spot to take cover in, if this should escalate. And if these people were after her instead? Well, she was going to have them cornered as hell.]

They make note of it, that's for sure, and after a long moment 76 gets a little impatient and decides to join her. If they can sneak out the back, they might be able to take care of this in the alley behind the bar. Predictably, they don't follow right away, but he feels eyes on him as he leaves.
He meets her in the hall and immediately starts pulling her toward the exit.]
Probably have about a minute. We can corner them in the alley.
A million years later
Once Jack leaves, she knows they don't have a lot of time. So as he speaks to her, Ana is already climbing the fire exit stairs of the bar, trying to establish a decent sniping position a bit in the distance.]
A whole minute? That's more time than we've had, in the past.
[Finding adequate cover behind some kind of mechanical unit on a nearby rooftop, she crouches down, peeking her one good eye around the corner to see their new friends were briskly walking not far off their tail.]
Company in bound. Keep your head down.

[Which she's already doing. It's nice, not having to worry about someone else--to know someone else so well that he can implicitly trust their plan of action and be certain that it will compliment his. It's something he's missed, even if there's no time to voice it.
Maybe he'll tell her later, when they're finished beating up these thugs.
76 doesn't bother to take the high ground, letting Ana have that domain. Instead, he ducks behind a few nearby supply crates, waiting for the group to come around the corner and into view.
He waits for them to pass him--let them miss him entirely, get a few steps away before he springs into action, launching himself at the thug bringing up the rear.]

At least on that much, he was already delivering in spades as Ana watches him tackle the offender in the back. Of course, the rest of the opponents are instantly put on alert, quickly pivoting around to try to take out Jack. Fortunately, Ana is far enough away to get a shot on one thug that was seemingly trying to aim their gun in his direction. As Ana prioritizes the targets the furthest from the action, it takes another enemy falling down before the suspicion is raised that Ana was nearby. Two more break away from the brawl, searching wildly, which prompts her to try to change her position.]
Keep sharp! Two of them are onto me.

[Or he will get them, just as soon as he throws this one guy off. The last thing he wants is to let any of them close the distance between themselves and Ana, of course. If he knows her (and he thinks he does), she'll already be repositioning, which means if he's fast enough (and he thinks he is), he can take care of it before she even settles.
He'll abandon his current target to go after the two that have split off, the others following in pursuit. 76 pushes himself into a sprint, his enhanced speed more than evident as he quickly closes the distance and throws himself into the tackle.]
