[ Normally, he wouldn't be standing so close to speakers. They're louder to him than they are to a normal human, and usually, he'd keep his distance.

But now he is drunk. He does not care about silly things like volume.

He is far more concerned with scrutinizing the machine on the stage that people seem all too eager to use. ]

Wash that.

[ In the common vernacular, he meant "What's that?" ]

[One drink is all it takes for Korra to get quite tipsy. She's bouncing eagerly near the stage, waiting for her own turn.]

It's a singing! Thing!

[If it has a real name, she doesn't remember. Or know. Or care.]

[ Link looks at her in dull surprise, the only form of surprise he can express in this state. ]

It sings?!

[anatural]

Yeah! No. No, you sing into it, and then it sings to the crowd. [She frowns.] I think. I'm not sure how it works.

So like--

[ He sings a few lyrics towards the machine. ]

Its not singing!!!1

[ damn technology how does it work?! ]

[anatural]

You don't sing at it!

[She waves her hands in drunken frustration.]

You gotta be on stage for it to work!

Oh ok.

[ He then proceeds to climb the stage. Or attempt to climb the stage, as it is not his turn yet.

He is thus promptly pushed off the stage, and lands flat on his back on the floor.

He doesn't seem to be in a rush to move. ]

[anatural]

Woah! WATCH IT! [She moves as though to start a fight with the jerks on stage, but she's kinda worried about the guy who hasn't moved from the floor.]

You okay?

[ He was almost about to fall asleep, but it's noisy and busy in here, and someone is talking to him.

Oh, that's right! Korra.

He pushes himself up, adjusting his clothes. ]

'm fine. Tha guy [ he points to his assailant ] izza huge jer!

[anatural]

Yeah! [Korra gestures rudely at the stage.]

Wanna wait with me? We can go up together.

[sky_child]

Yeah I wannan sing!!!

[ He says rather loudly, pumping his fist in the air. ]

[anatural]

[The jerk on stage throws something at Link's head before stalking off. At long last it's Korra - and now LInk's - turn.]

Let's go!

[sky_child]

[ Link somehow manages to dodge the object, key word here being "somehow"--and also "slightly", with a side order of "almost stumbling over a chair". He bounces back with a smile. ]
