"Look I don't know how to tell you this but I've never met you before in my life."

[ Jack raises an eyebrow, arms crossed over his chest. Does he have to get out the retcon? The young woman standing in front of him is very attractive and apparently, very angry at him but he's not entirely sure what it is that he's supposed to have done to her. Is she an alien? It's not a question he can very well come out and ask her out of nowhere. ]

"Whatever it is you think I've done or I think you've said... I don't know it."

[The concept of time moving in other-than-strictly-linear fashion isn't new to Pandora. Just aggravating at the moment. But the hint that she's meeting someone out of order just makes her clam up.]

Fine. [She mimics his posture. Not out of social habit of crossing her arms, but actually mimics his particular posture.] Well, when you get to it, you're still wrong.

[ So he can't rule out alien. Could she be a Time Agent? No wrist strap, so probably not. She's probably not a Time Lord, given the Doctor said he was the last of his kind, but then the Master had cropped up out of nowhere so he can't rule that out, either. ]

[ He raises an eyebrow as she copies his gesture, but he's still unimpressed. Not that she isn't attractive, of course, but she's kind of put him on the defensive here. ]

"Well I can't be held accountable for something I haven't done yet."

[The modeling only holds out so long before she tilts her head in what is clearly meant to be a scolding look. The problem for Pandora is just that, well, she's got all the menace of a kitten.]

"Well. I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to tell you off again when you do." [He's not following immediately with 'you're crazy', so there's that. Except now, all of the indignant outrage has pretty much teetered off into an awkward 'so there'.]

[ He can't help himself, and starts to laugh. It begins as a chuckle and then becomes a full-bellied thing. The situation is just... ridiculous. He doesn't know what the kid wants from him or if it's even important. But it's been a long time since someone's made him smile so genuinely; not since losing Tosh and Owen. ]

"What's your name?"

[She gives him that scolding look again, this time in force, before relenting.]

"Pandora."
