[ Jack shoots own a trademark wink and smile, but it's not genuine. It's a defence mechanism against what he knows is an oncoming argument; some problem that Owen has with his leadership, or the way that the mission went. It probably has something to do with the alien cadaver he's just dumped on the table. Though he's open to criticism, after all these years of the system working there's only so much he can take. He likes Owen. Wouldn't have recruited him otherwise. But sometimes they fight like cats and dogs. ]

"Another quirck of yours is your lack of basic human dignity and courtesy." [Owen's scowls deepens as he with disgust looks at the cadaver that had just been dumped on his table, almost knocking his cup of of coffee off the table. In addition to leaking a greenish liquid all over the news paper. Blood nice that was.]

"Ever heard of a thing called the chain of evidence? Basic sanitary precautions? Not interrupting a gentleman as he's just about to enjoy his coffee on his federally instated break? What even is this?" [He asks as the fishes up a piece of soggy newspaper with his spoon.]

"Hey, I wore gloves!"

[ Jack sighs, resisting the urge to run his hands through his hair. He's still wearing the gloves, and there really is a lot of blood on his hands. Alien blood. Very green. High levels of copper? Or is it brass? One of them goes green, but it's not his job to figure out which it is; technically, it's Owen's. Which is why Jack and Gwen have manhandled the body home through back streets and behind CCTV cameras that he's going to have to ask Tosh to check on, later. ]

"I'm sure Ianto'll make you a new cup. Right now we have a dead alien and a killer who's still MIA."

"Good for you. Didn't stop you from dumping the body on my work station rather than the autopsy table."

[He motions over to the steel bed farther down in the room.]

"Give me a hand will you? We need to shift this."

[He puts on a pair of gloves and take hold of the body.]

[ Jack shoots Ianto a self-deprecating smile. He had a point, not that Jack would ever admit it. But the alien was heavy and he'd gotten the feeling Owen'd put things off until he was done with his coffee. It was early in the morning, after all. ]

"After you, Owen."

[ He smirks, and grunts as he grabs the cadaver under the armpits while Owen takes the creature's feet, navigating the wobbly path down to the medical bay."

[He rolls his eyes and leads them down to the medical bay to place the alien in it's proper place.]

"And you didn't think about putting this cadaver on something with wheels? I'm sure we have at least one of those around here somewhere" [He comments with a grunt and grabs one of the scalpels from his work station.]

"Let's take a look then shall we? Is this any alien you're familiar with Jack?"
