The Intimacy Meme

Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.
Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.
2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.
3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.
4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.
5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.
6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?
7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?
8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!
9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!
10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

He shifts a little in his seat and drives unwelcome images of him and Athena doing things him and Athena probably should not do out of his mind. Wherever she is it clearly isn't here so with a sigh he goes back to his schoolwork. Henry's going to quiz him later so he'd better do it.
Then suddenly she is there, plonking down in the seat opposite to him and looking rather disgruntled. Something's different though, but it takes him a moment or so to figure out what because he's distracted by the way her lips look when she pouts a little. It should probably just look silly and childish, but for some reason it makes him shift in his seat again.
Then he sees it. Oh, she's curled her hair. She doesn't seem too happy about the result, but he thinks she looks just as pretty as always. He can't really focus on what she's saying when she starts talking though, too distracted by those lips again.
And then his brain just shuts down completely and he practically flies across the table, taking her face between his hands and pressing his lips against hers.
Holy shit. He's kissing Athena. ]

With her day sufficently ruined in that regard, she'd settled for going to do the one thing that always cheered her up: visiting Gabe. Because Gabe was on her mind about ninety percent of the time, anyway, so why not go see him and making herself happy with that. Yes, chances are that he was busy
or that some of the other girls could be taking up his time, oh god what if, but so what? Wouldn't be the first time that she'd settled for just... staring instead.So once she arrived, she sits down across from him - pouting, of course. Yes, she was aware that it didn't exactly make her look like the desirable, mature woman she wanted to be around him, but how did that matter now? He was so damned handsome studying, no wait, looking at her like that. ]
I know I look ... strange. One should think curling one's hair is easy, but no. How are--
[ Oh holy fucking shit. He-- He just--
And there goes the rational thinking. Even looking at him could make her heart beat faster - being kissed by him apparently meant that any form of thinking was impossible. She had never been one for romance novels, not even now, but... this was perfect. This was the moment she'd played through and through in her mind many, many times during the last couple of months when she was around him (or when she wasn't, even), and now that it was actually happening... she couldn't even understand how she'd ever managed to want anything but his lips on hers.
But do excuse her while she cannot do anything much now. She's in a sort of breathless world full of feelings and how is this even happening this is too good to be reality. . ]

Wait.
He's kissing Athena, and she's not slapping him for it. Does that mean she... likes kissing him? Does it mean she just likes him in general? As in like like?
Wow, that's... okay maybe getting too far ahead of himself but just wow. Wow!
For a brief moment he is flooded with a joy so intense he doesn't know if he's ever been so happy in his entire life.
Then comes complete and utter terror because oh god what do you do when the girl you like maybe possibly likes you back? The girl you maybe hadn't realized just how much you like until this very moment when you kissed her and the world turned awesome.
He lets go of her and slowly sits back down, staring.
He just kissed Athena. He just kissed Athena and it was the most amazing thing ever and he really shouldn't have done it.
Probably.
Damn, he doesn't even know. Isn't there like, a legal issue involved as well? Is he going to jail? ]

Mainly because oh god what do now. Clearly, it meant he sort of kinda liked her. Right? W-was she supposed to ask whether he liked her? Could she just assume he did because he kissed her and she had never been this happy about anything ever before? Does any of that mean he thinks of her as often as she does of him?
The thing with Athena is that, from the moment she was able to talk, walk and think on her own, she'd been taught how to play over her insecurities. And while everything in her head was just one freaking out, happydancing teenage-mess, she could at least act somewhat cool about it.
Not that she really knew what that'd mean in this situation or where it would go and what the heck she was doing.
So she leans in, slowly, and kisses him again, slowly, and then smiles - a real, honest, happy-beyond-herself smile. ]

A smile matching her own in the ridiculously happy department spreads over his face as he tries to sort his thoughts out enough to actually say something.
But what? What does this actually mean? Are they a thing now? Like a couple? Does he want that? Does she want that?
He feels like his heart is just going to fly out of his mouth and land in a disgusting puddle of blood on the table when he realizes that... yeah, he kind of wants Athena to be his girlfriend.
Okay, so about that speaking thing. ]

Yes, they were totally a thing now. And if they weren't, she'd try to change his opinion on that. And if he doesn't ask her to be his girlfriend, well, she could ask just as well, right?
Though even the thought makes her incredibly nervous, which was... a rare feeling.
But he didn't seem opposed, right?

Somehow he'd imagined this stuff to be a lot more complicated and involving more... stuff. He isn't even quite sure what but can it really be this simple?
