The Body Heat Meme

1. Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
2. Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
3. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
4. So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
5. Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

What, so you can kill me and use my body as a suit? [ It's so cold that Stiles' usual talk is interrupted by the chattering of his own teeth. ] Your last name is not Skywalker.

So you don't die. [ Stiles. You're smaller than him. Your body wouldn't fit him. ]

[ He could him as some fashionable mittens, okay. ]

I'm hallucinating. [ Stepping closer. ] I must be, because I'm pretty sure you were warning me about my death and, you know, not threatening to take it yourself this time.

Oh thank god. My body's not shutting down just yet. You're still being mean. [ That last part? Sing-song. He's not sorry. ]

Quick, tell me you're going to dismember me where I stand.

[ Definitely a growl now, and he takes two quick steps until he's close enough to grab Stiles, then two more to push both of them against the wall, covering Stiles' body with his, one arm across his throat, eyes glowing the slightest bit red.

Yes, that's his answer. ]

Seriously, dude?

[ But okay, so maybe his voice comes out a little bit breathless and squeaky. That's more to do with the arm at his neck, okay? Okay.

God, Derek's warm. ] You can't just push people about until they do what you want. This is not Twilight.

Shut up and sit down. [ Reaching out without looking to pull a quilt from the shelf to their left. He can smell the quilt, old and musty, though there's a hint of cleaning detergent as well. It'll do. ]

[ Fine ]

Fine.

[ He sits down with a thump, pulling his knees up to his chest and resting his chin on them. It's cold, and he's stuck here with a guy who's probably only keeping him alive so he can use him as bait later. ] Whatever you say, Stephanie Meyer.

Here. [ Dropping the quilt in Stiles' lap and sitting down next to him.

I hope you realise he doesn't know who Stephanie Meyer is. ]

[ Contrary to popular belief, Stiles isn't a cruel kid, and as much as he antagonises Derek, he'd still want to keep him just as safe as he has done before. He tucks part of the quilt at his side, holding it up to offer the space to him.

They'll share. That's not weird, right? ]

You're freezing.

[ Derek just feels like pointing out the obvious at the moment. Casting Stiles a look as he's even a touch cold at this point. ]

Thank you, Alpha Obvious.

[ It's just what happens when you traipse through the woods in the middle of a storm. ]

[sassywolf]

Come here.

[ Derek was leading him back to the Hale house because despite the fact that it was pretty much decimated, it provided enough shelter and they might be able to find something to warm them up until the storm passed. ]

[studmuffin]

[ Trailing after him. Well, tripping over whatever roots are making his travel awful. He's cold, so the shaking isn't helping the whole movement thing. ]

Why was this a good idea again?

[ Slowing down long enough fro Stiles to catch up before just wrapping and around him to help get him there faster. ]

[ Okay, so he's leaning kinda heavily but that's okay, Derek is warm and he's there. ]

I blame Scott. [ Scott's always to blame. ]

Next time, we are not doing this during a storm.

[ Running an arm up and down Stiles' side, attempting to create some friction to keep him warm. ]

[ Hey, that feels good. That feels super good. ]

Okay, I am on board with that plan, totally on board. Let's never do anything in the rain again.

[sassywolf]

[ Pausing. ]

It rains a lot. Why not just try to avoid storms like this?

[ Seriously, Stiles. Derek sighs and keeps walking, doing his best to keep the teen warm regardless. ]

[studmuffin]

No, we avoid rain forever, it's the only way. [ Because his teeth are chattering okay, and he's shaking cold. ]

Okay. Fine. Forever then.

[ Sighing as they got closer. Almost upon the steps now. ]

T-thanks.

[ Rain, rain why. But he pretty much hauls himself up the steps, dripping under the porch lip. ]
